Joker has taken over Leto's account as well https://***********/JaredLeto

A new picture would be enough for me.

If tens of millions of dollars of extensive reshoots for this film are indeed happening right now, it's not possible that it's in response to Batman v Superman's reception. It would have had to have been planned for some time now. The initial report even directly states that it's in response to the warm reception the last trailer got. They just would not be able to throw something huge together in the span of 1-2 weeks. It's only reactionary wackos on the internet who are saying otherwise.

I was excited for this more than BvS because of the amazing trailer. Then I find out the movie is nothing left like the trailer and now WB ordered reshoots to make it more fun. DCEU future is more bleak than a Snyder movie.

Don't post much on here, but I read a lot....just feel compelled to to drop my opinion on the whole adding humor convo.... and I'll I can ask is it that surprising and why are people so upset about it?

No surprise to anyone, but the bottom line is money. Sorry some of the fan boys may not get the film "they wanted" (more serious and not as much Marvel humor or fluff), but that is what is selling right now.

Blame Marvel, don't blame Marvel, but the GA is going to be more inclined to go to a movie that isn't dark and serious and gritty, as some of you want. I'd love to see that for some movies, but I'm not getting bent out of shape that they aren't. BvS was good, not great, and had issues. WB wants to beat Marvel/Disney and are scrambling to catch up. If you think BvS and it's critical response won't have a ripple affect on the rest of the DC movies you're only fooling yourself.

Ayer's twitter account's been hacked by the Joker today...

Thank Zod it wasnt hacked by Snyder. :o

Damn, did Snyder sleep with your girlfriend or something?

I am just going to warn you as a friend that if you keep this up the mods will end up coming after you. I was warned for doing the same type of thing even though it was obvious I wasnt stirring the pot or trolling.

As for the "adding humor" I will believe it when I see it. But looking at this logically...why would WB add humor to a movie that is supposed to be on the darker side in response to criticisms of a movie that had (according to some) too little humor and too much darkness but is currently killing it at the box office? Wouldnt that be counter-intuitive?

I mean obviously you can believe what you want but it seems more likely to me that the clickbaiters are using planned reshoots to play off the fears and hopes of the audience. I mean this will freak out the fanboys (as seen around here) which will in turn help the clickbaiters.

I've learned after all these years that the bad rumors are usually true and the good rumors usually aren't...especially when the film is shooting or done shooting.

I'm starting to enjoy you picking on Snyder. You're getting better at it. Good job, keep it up.

Even though Ayer seems to be taking Snyder's and Terrio's route with his SS (dark and serious, although might not be as heavy and complex), and an investor will be eager to add more jokes and fluff, I'm sure DC is in a good hands at the moment.

And just like they took the risk with MoS and BvS, they'll take it again with a serious SS and JL.

I enjoy Ayers brand of Humor in his films like Fury and End of Watch.

Dark? No doubt. Serious? With a clown like Boomerang? And two other legit clowns - Joker and Harley?

Even if the facts (like the reshoots being planned in January) prove the premise completely wrong? I am sure there is no confirmation bias there ;)

And the fact that the reshoots don't seem to feature the major actors. They're either doing something else or have completely changed their appearance.

You can have those in a serious film.

Lex in BvS is not that far from the psychotics in SS, and for me he was one of the most serious parts of the film.

I might be wrong though.

WB was worried about BvS reception around that time so I don't think it's a coincidence. They take feedback from test screenings and you bet WB is worried about the entire DCEU and not just BvS. Now multiple sources confirm so it's not some Reddit loser. We will see but it's always best to assume the worst because when you assume the best, the chances are greater that you'll be letdown.

its not reddit loser its twitter losers.

No but he ruined one of the greatest film potentials IMO. :o

You know, his job wasn't as easy as you might think. We can all speculate about what he would need to do in order to make this work, but the reality is that he had a huge task in his hands and a lot of hype around, from both fanboys and haters. These characters mean a lot to a lot of people and they expect a lot from them. Let me remind you Bryan Singer couldn't make a successful Superman movie. In this day and age, it's just not easy to put Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman together and please everybody while still being original in any way.

Really? Cause all I see is a bunch of people retweeting or "sharing" the same report from birth.movies.death and quoting it like it was news. (I believe even Eh Maybe did that to back Faraci up) They did the same thing after every report all of these sites make...it literally lends zero credence to the original report. It would be like me saying "I saw 100 people running around in the street drinking milk wearing no pants and a cape!!!" and then a bunch of people around here quoting what I am saying and then someone else then using them quoting me to prove my original post was real. The post might be legit, but not because people agreed with it. (it should be noted that right now the JL villain being Bat-Mite is trending on Facebook so lets not let social media be our barometer ;) ) That is a complete and total logical fallacy.

But I will ask one more question...if these reshoots are "because WB was worried" and they are intended to "add humor" then why are none of the major actors involved int he reshoots? Is WB only making Ayer add humor to Killer Croc?

Long as the humor doesn't feel forced i'm cool with more humor.
