Bro, I love your idea and I'm going to allow it (because I invented the next Facebook, started a production company and bought the rights to DC characters), but Batman is mine. I'll loan him to you for a cameo, but he's gonna have his hands full with my epic film that feels like a more complex, mature Batman The Animated Series bought to life.

Also, I'm creating Gotham Central as an HBO series, like True Detective in Gotham City

I get Birds of Prey.

I agree. Serious insults were hurled for no good reason, so I'm very interested in humiliating some SJW logic.

Unfortunately, arguments with social justice warriors never get very far because they seem to always somehow get conveniently triggered JUST as someone lands a substantial blow to their terrible arguments
I SEE SPIDEY expressed her wish to end that conversation SEVERAL posts back, and yet you keep harping on out of some apparent urge to "humiliate" someone. If you have any interest in sticking around, I'd strongly suggest you drop it now.

Just got back from a screening and man that was underwhelming. Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Viola Davis were good, but it seemed the script was working against them.

What was missing from this film was the team-building interactions. We barely got moments like the bar scene that were advertised, and not enough time was spent having the characters bond. Instead, we have time given to the Joker, who was frankly a useless character in the story, and action scenes that aren't terribly interesting.

This has already been mentioned numerous times in this thread  Just a heads up.

All of this stuff going on with DC is beyond disappointing.

And seriously, I think this whole DCEU fiasco is the main reason why DC has allowed Superman to show up in Supergirl. Very few people like the movie version (it's gonna take some time until they fix or reboot thewhole thing), but they still need the character out there.

Wouldn't it have been awesome if Brandon Routh wasn't already Ray Palmer and was available to play Superman on the show?

After Suicide Squad, we'll have 10 months to go over everything before WW

Ok, so wow. I loved MOST of Suicide Squad. Really really loved MOST of Suicide Squad.

Suicide Squad is really about the characters. I loved that.

El Diablo, like Deadshot, will break your heart.

It got so caught up in the core characters that it jumbled the main plot. Which I'm mostly okay with.

A. It's not a critic's movie.
B. It's not a perfect movie.
C. Hating on something this big gets attention.

Yes. It took the humor timing style we see in Marvel films and made it dark.

Leto does a GREAT job in the coveted role but it's not significant enough for complete judgment. I want more.

It was great having him. He's fun. It was similar to how Spider-Man fit into CW. Didn't need to be there but welcome

Loved most: the character development.
Loved least: the congested deliver of the villain.

There's a moment in Suicide Squad that really sends home the message that you can't change the past. My favorite part.

Suicide Squad: 8.2/10
It's crowded, yes, but mostly with excellently developed and acted characters. Brilliant action. Fun movie.

Maybe he's just trying to bait us into visiting comicbook.com more. lol jk

I really like Routh but those are different universes. And tbh I'm not in love with his Superman.

Anyways, we shouldn't take the discussion too far in that direction :yay: I think it's ok to talk about it in the context of the DCEU, though.

Time for another hiatus from the Hype.

Jeremy Jahns has a positive reveiw up

I haven't seen the movie yet. I'm doomed to like the movie.

It's so interesting though how Ayer can write these great films and all of a sudden drop the ball on SS. I've liked Fury, End of Watch, and others. We'll see.

Ah a new thread! okies... Im still seeing this movie regardless.
