It's because you guys aren't fully understanding the difference between a series commitment and something actually being picked up. A series commitment is basically just a fancy deal. If Supergirl doesn't end up on our screens, CBS pays a lot. But that's not necessarily a pick-up.

That link I have a few posts above is to a story Deadline did about FOX giving "Locke and Key" a series commitment a few years back. Not one episode ever aired.

Because the thing that makes you think it's picked up doesn't mean what you think it means.

At the TCA the head of the network even said it's "almost a shoe-in" for a series order. And I think they'd know better than anyone.

I'm fairly sure we'll see it on the air this fall, but nothing is set in stone.

For now it's just a pilot with a lot of money behind it.

I would say anywhere between now and March. Isn't that when they shot the pilots for Arrow and The Flash?

March is also when we got the full costumes as well. Although Wonder Woman's was Feburary.
