In rather sad news. Norm Breyfogle passed away. As a Batman guy, he was one of the artist's I associated with Batman back in the day. He made the blue and gray suit look cool. Sad news indeed

I'm interested in the Dark Pheonix trailer mainly because the movie itself has basically nothing to lose. They obviously want to make money off the theatrical release but the reality is that the financial outcome doesn't really matter to the franchise itself. So screw it, let's see how they want to wrap things up I guess. I don't have much faith in Kinberg but maybe this could be more DOFP and less Apocalypse.

Pretty much my thoughts. It's funny, because we differ on the X-films in many ways, but we've reached the same conclusion.

The Phoenix is also a character/concept that can bring about pretty much anything. She has stitched together universes, burned away time-lines, consumed suns, altered reality, jumpstarted evolution, and more in the comics

Terrible news. He's my favorite Batman artist. He had a stroke a few years ago, but I thought he was on the road to recovery. He was only 58.

After being bored with many of the latest X-Men films and knowing they'll soon revert back to Disney/Marvel Studios, the Dark Phoenix trailer did absolutely nothing for me.

Hmm, It def looks like a remake of The Last Stand as the leaks said. X-men are always my faves so I’m never not gonna hope it’s good. Matter of fact i need this to be good cause marvel will probably never touch the Dark Phoenix Saga after this.

I'm also very surprised about how TLS'ish it looks so far. And slightly annoyed that this effectively takes away the MCU's chance to do this storyline within the next ten or fifteen years, if at all.

Overall, trailer was fine. Doesn't look anywhere near as cool as DoFP, but not nearly as bad as X:A. Looks fine.

I believe I've officially reached the point of complete indifference toward the Fox X-Men franchise, because I felt absolutely nothing towards that trailer - nothing good, nothing bad. It just looks like a thing that exists that I might end up watching at some point because I like some of the people in it.

Dark Phoenix trailer was a huge bag of overstuffed ‘meh’.

Nothing in it that looked different, original or impactful in any way whatsoever.

It is a film that will come and go without many people noticing much. A wet X-men shaped fart.
