He’s a very popular pic for Aquaman but he could work as Brainiac
I think Lester's big Hollywood movies are Primary Colours and The Day After Tomorrow.
Maybe watching her get colder and more calculating in Dune Part II put it in my head, but let me pitch y’all something for Brainiac…

Gunn al but said that is his plan. I think he wants to build up the C characters with the stars. Superman will build Kara and the Justice gang. Batman will probably build the Bat family and lead to the Teen Titans.I hope they take their time this time and give us time to actually care about the heroes before jumping into a WF and or a JL film...
Katie O’Brian would be an excellent Mala from the Superman the Animated series. I would stay away from Zod because Shannon’s version was so good. Some random Superman sequel castings

In light of that plot twist, I'd actually be curious how Zod would work in the DCU. Albeit I wouldn't want to see him again for quite awhile.I wouldn't mind seeing Zod again.
The character is one of Superman's most well known foes to the GA, through the films and tv shows , regardless of the characters importance in comics.
That said , I could see James Gunn wanting to adapt other Superman villains who haven't made it to the big screen before he would want to touch Zod.
I wouldn’t hate a team up of Brainiac and a Kryptonian soldier like Mala/Jax Ur or an evil Power girl/Super boy prime combo. That would be a serious threat to the Justice league as well as Kal and Kara.I would just stay away from Zod because we’ve already seen him twice and even the comics could never figure out what the hell to do with him. I know we’ve seen a lot of Lex too but Lex is so integral to Superman’s story that leaving him out would be like doing the X-Men without Magneto.
No Zod, please. I'm sick of that mid-level villain being treated like an A-lister. The only time I'd enjoy Zod is in a New Krypton-esque scenario where he and Kal are forced to work together for the betterment of their society.
