Always good to see some new names thrown out there. I’ve seen some stuff that he’s in but I don’t remember him. Looks like he’s in the new season of Sandman though, which I’ll be watching soon.

Since Gunn is taking a more episodic approach to these Superman films, I would like to see some of the non-big name Superman foes appear. Conduit, Hank Henshaw, Manchester Black and Riot. They could make good secondary villains.

I think Lester's big Hollywood movies are Primary Colours and The Day After Tomorrow.

He would make a good Brainiac. I really enjoyed Krypton's versions of brainiac and doomsday

Brianiac is the big bad that most fans want to see in live action but I wouldn’t mind if Superman 2 had a villains version of the Justice Gang along with Brainiac. Metalo, Livewire, and Parisite. I think all three could look good on the big screen. Of course with a little Mixy along to agitate Supes and Kara.

Not bad at all; I remember this guy from the deleted Spider-Man 3 scenes. He was a doctor that was trying to cure Flint Marko's daughter but needed money to continue his research (so Flint started robbing banks)

I don’t really want to see Toyman but I have to admit, Plemmons would CRUSH that role. Especially after seeing him in those Black Mirror episodes. Damn.

Gunn al but said that is his plan. I think he wants to build up the C characters with the stars. Superman will build Kara and the Justice gang. Batman will probably build the Bat family and lead to the Teen Titans.

I wonder what the plan for Wonder Woman will be. Donna Troy as a sidekick?

Katie O’Brian would be an excellent Mala from the Superman the Animated series. I would stay away from Zod because Shannon’s version was so good.

I would just stay away from Zod because we’ve already seen him twice and even the comics could never figure out what the hell to do with him. I know we’ve seen a lot of Lex too but Lex is so integral to Superman’s story that leaving him out would be like doing the X-Men without Magneto.

Zod was never a major player in the comics. Jax-Ur was always the big, bad Kryptonian. Don't need to see Zod again. Lex Luthor is different. He's not just a villain but he's part of Superman's supporting cast. Brainiac is a must. He's LONG overdue.

I would also love to see (and not just in a Superman movie but in a JL or DC crossover event) something like The OMAC Project. Maybe Lex or Stagg could develop it instead of Batman (since, ya know, we kinda have to like Batman before he turns into a paranoid dick). But I always thought that was a cool concept. Basically like a bunch of cyborg Jason Bournes being activated all over the globe. Different than the typical magic McGuffin threat.

I wouldn’t hate a team up of Brainiac and a Kryptonian soldier like Mala/Jax Ur or an evil Power girl/Super boy prime combo. That would be a serious threat to the Justice league as well as Kal and Kara.

Superboy (or Superman) Prime could be interesting. But I would only want to see that if they do a Crisis event.

Exactly. Sorry to bring up Snyder but for all these people who go one about how “original” he was with Superman, all his movie did was rehash Superman I & II and made it worse. He could have done most of what he did with Zod and used Brainiac or the Eradicator and it would have make it a bit more interesting, but still he went with the “safe” choice because Zod has more name recognition among the GA..
