I like bringing McCallany from the DCEU to the DCU, but I was thinking Wade Eiling / The General.

As for Sawyer, my fancast was always Kate McKinnon but I’m not married to it

Oh yeah I forgot Holt as in the DCEU but that doesn’t matter. He would be a good Eiling too and Kate McKinnon can be in anything. Love her!

Hey guys, what do you think about the big bad of the DCU being a group of Supervillains like Luther, Brainiac, Sinestro, Cerci, Big Barda, and any number of Batman rogues teaming up with Amanda Waller to destroy heroes. I think it would be an original concept that could be developed through each movie in the DCU eventually leading to the Justice League vs the Legion of Doom.

I’d be pleased as punch if our new Justice League movie had them facing against the Legion of Doom led by Lex.

We’ve got already got Sinestro in Lanterns too. You could get pretty creative the line-up, but I always think of Black Manta being there too.

Gunn just showed it with Superman you don’t need one big bad all powerful to contest the hero. Lex was a real threat and a scary one at that. To be honest I wouldn’t mind a legion of doom from the 80s type of Braniac. Not as powerful as the newer variants but more human like. Certainly would be more interesting to watch on the big screen.

They planted seeds for Bizarro and Mxyzptlk in Superman and I’d love to see either of them.

Brainiac has been at the top of my list for a while. Would love a Superman/Supergirl movie where they’re trapped in his ship and have to escape the Bottled City of Kandor maybe.

But the story I really want to see is a pseudo Justice League story which would be a combination of For The Man Who Has Everything and Warworld. Mongul would use the Black Mercy to trap Superman and use him for his gladiatorial matches on Warworld against Lobo. Supergirl, Batman, Wonder Woman, Robin (I loved his inclusion in the original comic), Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter have to team up to rescue Superman.

Would love to see John Henry & Natasha Irons in this DCU.

The Everyman Project from 52 is a cool concept this universe could play with; i.e. a scenario where ordinary humans are granted superpowers. You could keep Lex at the head, or give that idea to Brainiac— he wins over the planet by making everyone metahuman, while secretly plotting to destroy it. It’s a little JLA: New World Order too with Brainac acting like the Hyperclan / White Martians.

He’s got five years on David. That seems like a pretty reasonable age gap for Clark and John Henry.

lol for some reason I think of Jovan as a man permanently in his early 20s.

John Henry Irons (aka Steel), General Lane, and Maggie Sawyer.
Oh yay lots of people are saying Steel. I really want him to turn up
Eradicator: Ethan Peck
John Henry Irons (Steel): Billy Brown
Maggie Sawyer: Samira Wiley
Dan Turpin: Holt McCallany
Emil Hamilton: Terrence Mann
Someone on another forum said Matt Bomer should play Eradicator and it kind of gagged me a bit

Kate McKinnon as Maggie Sawyer feels like a choice I could see Gunn making.

Throw in a scene of her and Steve Lombard hassling eachother.

If there’s any truth to the rumors of a Jimmy Olsen series acting like an anthology for supervillains, I can easily see it checking off a number of Superman baddies who would never headline a film.

So if you’ll allow me…

Toyman - Michael Sheen
