I watched Man Of Steel last night and still really love the movie. And Iove the new one. MOS did some things Superman didn't do and vice versa. I don't mind a darker Superman and for me it was an interesting take of putting Superman in our world and seeing the fear it would bring out in people. I loved in MOS that Superman had to win humanity over also. And that Smallville fight is still fantastic to this day.

But the world in 2025 definitely needed a brighter, more hopeful Superman, and the 2025 movie delivered that in spades. It also highlighted being good to one another which is something else the world really needs right now.

Personally I love that both exist.

Hey everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Ever since superman came out, I have been lurking admittedly lol. I loved the movie BTW. Man it was probably the best Superman move ever and I am so happy to see James Gunn take DC into an exciting new direction. I decided to come out of lurking to share this peace of information I saw from Luis Fernando this past weekend. I am not sure exactly how that will affect the legs going forward but it sounds like a good thing. Very happy to see this film and DC succeed. #GunnControl lol

I swear they used to allow you to embed twitter posts. Am I wrong? That's what I was trying to do earlier and I couldn't so I just screen captured

Italy | THU July 31st:

4. Superman | €40,332 | Tot. €4,810,006

€5M is gonna take a little longer than I hoped.

Bring Her Back is #2, pushing JWR and Superman down a notch. The Naked Gun sits at #5, doesn't seem to have made much of a dent at the Italian BO.

Rain over italy should help a bit :)

Forget legs.

Films flying into orbit.

At this rate, $350M is probably all but guaranteed. I'm curious how far it can go past that. I'm guessing it will depend on how long WB decides to keep it in theaters.

Either way, great success for the film given all the obstacles it faced. As long as the next film isn't complete dog crap, I suspect the sequel will see a sizable increase in sales.

Hopefully whatever the semi sequel Gunn is working on isn't a mess.
