Although Superman 4 is, I'm sure wanting to be forgotten by most Superman fans, I am one of the very few that believe with better effects & the rest of the story put back into the 140 minute version you would have a halfway decent Superman film. A film that atleast unlike part 3, focused on Superman as the main character & gave him a proper villian to physically fight.
Here are some examples of a manip I did that I believe could be used as a guide to re create Superman 4 with better effects, much in the same way they did with the Donner cut of Superman 2.

Anyway, this thread is mainly aimed at gathering people around to talk about what could have been, & what could still be done if given the proper treatment.
