Leave Brandon Routh as Superman out of Justice League Bull****.

ya no ****. They hands down dont have enough time to fully establish all of these characters and do them the justice they deserve. Hopefully this movie tanks and warner goes back to the drawing board and does it right like marvel. But I only hope Brandon gets to be in a superman sequel. With a real villian and more intense action I have a feeling Singer will make a seriously kick ass movie. On another note hopefully the script lets on to the fact that supes isn't some pacifist and he will drop a yacht on a mob bosses house to make his point.

Same here. Singer should use more action & give Routh more lines. I'm sure Singer can improve the sequel if given the chance. He did it for X2 with making it longer & adding more action. Not saying he should make SR 2 longer, just add some more action & fix the story.

I think he might get a chance to play Supes again. With how many at WB and many fans (despite some disliking him for not being Welling or others ) like him & think he did quite admireable, he could get a second chance. Time will tell.

You can't blame Routh for being too much like Reeve, that was obviously his director pushing him in that direction, he was basically asked to play Christopher Reeve playing superman, and the fact that he pulled it off without being hated by 100% of the comic fan community is quite an accomplishment in it's self.

yea. And what i was saying about a reboot earlier i was hearing if Mos doesnt happen with singer and/or if jla goes well and they do spinoffs from there i heard somewhere mos would be a reboot for supes.

To wash away the bad taste many felt after watching SR. New slate means not having to deal with already being painted into a corner with a lame who's your daddy storyline and a real estate obsessed wig wearing Lex. WB is on the fence with the Superman solo franchise and that's a fact. This JLA forum wouldn't exit right now if that wasn't the case.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously, I wanted to like SR, but the only parts I enjoyed were the outstanding opening credit sequence and the exciting plane rescue. The rest was good actors giving strained performances for a director attempting to follow another director's vision. It was a popcornless popcorn movie that falied on hype and substance. Weak plot, weak devices (oh..that's his son, didn't see that coming), and weak performances. I gave it a C when I left the theatre and I've given it a solid C- everytime I've tried to watch it sense then (and that's only because I love the character). Just my opinion.

I Respect your opinion, and I agree Singer did try to much to make this like the old supes movies, but over all, It's one of the top 5 best movies of all time

if its between dj and cudmore being the number 2 guy and welling is number one guy, and if welling doesnt happen i rather have cudmore over dj. Dj totally isnt right for supes.
