I wonder if the Superman and Lois spinoff will have Zod and his family of Ursa and Lor-Zod that could be a counterpoint to Superman, Lois, and Jon.
Crisis, tho. It's the ultimate convenient retcon. They'll have to resurrect him cause he's dead, in Supergril S3 they said that Superman killed Zod.

I've been thinking about those castings that look like for the supersons, but what if they were for the Clark and Lex children's versions in flashbacks? The descriptions could fit too ...
I hope they ain't about to try and convince us Tyler's Supes and Cryer's Lex are remotely close in age, lol!I've been thinking about those castings that look like for the supersons, but what if they were for the Clark and Lex children's versions in flashbacks? The descriptions could fit too ...

Clark should be around 38-39. They haven't given Lex's age, but Cryer's 54, and I'd say he can pull off mid-40's at the youngest. What are their ages - according to the Supergirl continuity?

(and yes, I know Tyler's Supes is supposed to be older than he looks, but he's not in his 40's, let alone 50's)
Cryer looked younger on Two and a Half Men. hair I would aasume.Clark should be around 38-39. They haven't given Lex's age, but Cryer's 54, and I'd say he can pull off mid-40's at the youngest.
The kids they're looking for are the same age, according to the casting notices.

. Three episodes are used as citations to support this age. (But since my recollection of episodes is very short-term, this is useless to me.
) In the “trivia” section, however, some detail is spelled out: in “American Dreamer”… Lena had already been adopted when Lex was 13, thus, placing his birth year as 1984 at the earliest, making him around 9 years older than Lena and at least 5 years younger than Superman.
The question is whether his age will be goosed up to 40 (same as Superman) or older.
Out of curiosity, I had a look on Arrowverse Wiki. According to it, Superman is 40. (Born in 1979; he would have been 36 at the start of Supergirl.) And the math on this seems to work out.
Lex, it is claimed, was born circa 1984 (35 today). Three episodes are used as citations to support this age. (But since my recollection of episodes is very short-term, this is useless to me.

Now I assume the above chronology (if it’s accurate) was introduced before Cryer was cast. Therefore, it seems like some sort of retcon is in order. The question is whether his age will be goosed up to 40 (same as Superman) or older.

I knew they ****ed up that timeline the moment their first “Luthors” flashback tried to convince us Lena is 24 (and somehow younger than Kara). I mean Katie McGrath is aging well but not THAT well, lol.I knew they ****ed up that timeline the moment their first “Luthors” flashback tried to convince us Lena is 24 (and somehow younger than Kara). So yes, some retconning is certainly in order, as long as it doesn’t try to convince me that Tyler’s Supes and Cryer’s Lex are the same age. I can suspend a lot of disbelief for these shows, but even I have my limits.

Many sites say 36 (born in 1983) and use Wikipedia as their source. But Wiki no longer lists a birthdate or age. In any case, 36ish seems reasonable.]I'm sure that helped. Well, that and actually BEING younger.![]()
I meant like the Ashton Kutcher years of it. Sort of wonder how Charlie Sheen would done as Luthor.I'm sure that helped. Well, that and actually BEING younger.![]()

Arrowverse Wiki says…
Chronologically, Kara is 53 - born in 1966. Biologically, you have to subtract the 24 years spent in suspended animation. So: 29 in 2019. [Benoist is 31.]
Lena is 26 (born in 1993). [McGrath’s age is mysterious. Many sites say 36 (born in 1983) and use Wikipedia as their source. But Wiki no longer lists a birthdate or age. In any case, 36ish seems reasonable.]
