This is still opinion... they are both fictional characters in universes where laws of physics are not set in stone.

The laws of physics really don't apply in the Dragon ball Universe at all. How many times have they blown up the moon and nothing happens to the Earth...

The silver age of DC comics was just as bad at defying the laws of physics. Hell Silver age Superman destroyed a distant solar system by sneezing. A silver age Pre-Crisis Superman could take out both Superman Prime and Goku by passing gas. Or by emitting some crazy beams from his finger tips that neutralizes their powers.

I actually believe the argument would actually go like this:

Goku could totally beat this Thannos guy. Because while fighting Kid-Buu, SSJ3 Son-Gokou got to powerlevel 180,000,000,000 (and I have a Geocities site that backs me up on this). Also, during a single frame of GT, I've decided motion lines mean he is going twice the speed of light. Also, Piccolo can blow up the moon.

So Goku would beat Thannoss and rape his corpse. Face it, you just got sonned.

Im not trying to disagree, but you say we dont give good reasons when all you say is he is god and he is almighty. Like a seven year old thinking his dad is the strongest there is. Actually, I didn't have to list a reason, because Thanos had the IG. I didn't have to list every single power that it had to "give a good reason". Besides, Eliya and some others listed some reasons, and I agreed with them.
As for the giving no real reasons and stuff, I'll show you what I meant.

i did my research and i still say that goku would win agaist both of them. Then again the gauntlet is very powerful,but come on these make believe fights have to be balanced. Dont you think? This isn't a matter of sheer strength like it would be against Superman or somebody. Anyone with the Infinity Gauntlet controls the very essence of the universe. Hell, when Adam Warlock had the gauntlet, he used it to move planets around to make them spell things, BECAUSE HE WAS BORED.

Ok, you are just trying to start things and make them worse. Not once did I even mention Superman in my post that you quoted. I was talking about Thanos with HotU. I never just said that "he is a god and is almighty." I said he'd win with Infinity Gauntlet and also agreed with other posters. I never mentioned Superman. As I said this in my post above and I was right. You are literally getting mad at me because I didn't vote for Goku. If you weren't mad, please tell me what it is. You also are just putting Goku over Superman with no real explanation, making my post above right, yet again. Besides, I never said people who voted for Goku over Superman were stupid, I said people who did that with no real explanation of why were.
