Just started the game and I'm already getting slightly pissed. How the hell am I supposed to stop so many ****ing meteorites at once?

I just rented it for ps2 about ten minutes ago and ive yet to play it cuz im eating my snacker from kfc. I just wanted to see if anyone has played it on ps2 and if its cool or not. Guess ill just play and let you guys know LOL

WOW WOWOWOWOW WOW!!!!!!! I am buying this game...........im sold. I dont care if its not exactly intuitive but it is the funnest superhero game ive played since the Hulk UD. When I played spider-man 2 in 04 i never felt the feeling I have when saving people in metropolis. It's just much more epic. I'm in love and im more of a marvel guy normally so im converting who my favorite hero bewteen spidey and supes is at least in game form. only downside is the oneliners. shut up clark and save the PEOPLE!

Um well I don't see it on the dvd just Scenes, Play, and Languages.

its prob on the 2nd disc of the 2 disc edition, that or its a easter egg. Playing as Sups is cool but sometimes you just have to be evil.

Oh well I only have the main movie disc I didn't see a second disc. I will check again tomorrow and see if I can get one.

Meh. Rented it on PS2 and I am glad I did.

It's like EA looked at Activision's superhero standard game with Spider-Man 2 and wisely borrowed the idea of free roaming swingi....eh flying, but they took the worst aspects of the game and magnified them to be the majority of the gameplay.

This really is like a 6.5 game, maybe 7.0 if one wants to be kind. The flying is cool, if done in an unoriginal way it certainly one ups the swinging in SM2 or at the very least matches it (including flying to the top of the stratosphere and crashing towards earth).

But meh. The gameplay is even more unvaried than in SM2. There are no rescue missions, no indoor environments, no delivering pizzas/taking photographs/making dates. It is just beat up robots. You don't even have a choie to do it or not but you literally HAVE TO. Dragons and robots that is it. Not even a runaway driver or bank robbery. The saving kittens is about as annoying as saving balloons, but there is no in-game storyline. No chase the villain/ally or sneak around warehouses or try and make dates with Lois, etc.

It is just flying aorund doing the same crap over and over again with the smalles tamounbt of variety I've ever seen in a GTA-style free roaming yet. And the villains are cool and the saving grace of the gameplay but they are just really larger versions and extentions of the robts and dragons. I haven't finished the game but IGN says the final boss is a tornado?....There's something wrong with this picture.

Sure it is better than Superman 64, but it lacks the level of fun or depth that Spider-Man 2 had, **** Spider-Man 64 and PSX was more fun than this. As I said a 6.5 or 7.0 if you're generous here. Great flying gameplay but nothing else, really.

P.S. And we thought Tobey's one-liners could be corny. Though it really only annoyed me during boss fights (as seen above) though.

When I want to play as Bizarro I just go to a Superman statue with a purple vortex thingy in front of it. I forget what part of the city it's in, but it's not hard to find.
Anyone know when the next save point is after you destroy the meteors? Everytime I turn off the game I end up back on War World.

yea I know about those,the code im talking about (its also on the front page of the hype) allows you to play as Bizzaro for an unlimited amount of time.

Well, thats a good reason to buy I guess. Im trading mine in for Justice League Heroes. I like the flying and powers but the game itself is pretty shoddy. I need fun when I get off work, no aggrivation allowed.

Dude if you trade SR in for Justice League Heros your gonna severly regret it, JLH is a little kids button mashing game in my opinion. This is buy far the best super hero game to come along since Spiderman 2. The thing with this game is when you put in the cheat codes where the city doesnt take any health damage & get all the unlockables... this game becomes loads of fun. You cant play as Bizarro full time, only in the mini games, but with the codes on you can go on a rampage & the city takes no damage & thats cool with not to play as a ******ed Superman when i decide to toss cars across town, i completed 100% of the game & im still going discovering new things just exploring. Im on the Xbox 360 version in high defintion with 5.1 DD sound, you PS2 guys are really missing out on this games full pontential. Walk around on the city streets & look how beautiful the city looks, it doesnt look & feel that big when flying high up but when your just walking around its huge!
