We are three episodes into the new season of Survivor. So far I´m not thrilled with the theme of the season as it just feels a bit unfair and forced.

Over all I'd say that this season has been just average so far. I´m a bit disappointed with who the first two players to be eliminated were, thought the one voted out in episode three really was the architect of his own destruction imo.

This season has been brilliant so far due to an endearingly quirky cast and - maybe most importantly - balanced editing that gives us a sense of who each castaway is as an individual. My only complaint is that they're swapping so soon.

I think Goliath will regret keeping Natalie around. She just screams disloyal.

Shame they are already switching tribes 3 eps in, I have been spoiled since finding Survivor Australia 2 years ago. They don't switch tribes for like 6 episodes or more but it is 50+ days.

I only really like Morrison. I don't care for anyone on the David tribe, except maybe the guy that caught the Octopus and found an idol.

Another excellent episode. What a season so far. I have no clue what Alec was thinking, though. Now he'll be outnumbered.

Shame to see Bi quit the game, but I guess its understandable that she would prioritize her long term career over a slim chance of winning the game.

Alec made a bad move, it makes no sense to put your destiny in the hands of the former Davids like that. If they lose two more immunity challenges before the next switch up/merge then he is probably screwed. That said, Natalia was being really overbearing and showed a lot of disrespect to her alliance so she definitely brought this on her self.

Natalie was needy and pushy, you can't have that attitude all the time in the game. She has no people skills by saying she didn't like how close people were getting and wanting to know everything. She had to go because despite that she still had some connections with the other big butt bossy girl. The oldy lady is bossy too but no one is really going to connect and form a group with her. The cop guy the blonde girl he likes and the big butt one were tight with Natalie.

I think Alec will be fine enough to make the merge because he saved those David's. I think by merge the Goliath's will have an advantage by 1-2 people. I don't think the team that Morrison is on will lose, if they do I hope the crying girl Gabby goes home.

Really glad that Natalie is gone from the show. She was really far out of her element here and had one of the worst social games that I've seen in a long time on the show.

Also glad to see that the David and Goliath distinction is fading away. I'm guessing that the theme is just so silly that it doesn't carry much weight after a tribe swap :)

It really is a dumb theme unless they had giant people and tiny or skinny people. The DVG is more about their lifestyle backgrounds it seems which still isn't a good idea. Mike is basically a David if you look at him and I don't think he comes from money. He had to work to be a movie guy. Old head had to go too stubborn and controlling. I did not see the preview for the next one but they will probably go back to two tribes after the next vote.

Kind of a meh episode this week. A completely blow out at the immunity challenge, followed by a vote where I was ok with either being voted out.

That said, I´m glad that it was Lyrsa. She had a very negative energy to her that I didn't like, plus she seemed like she would be a lot more passive players post merge than Angelina.

Yeah that team was the weakest of the three from the start. They had all the bad attitudes and weaker players.

I'm happy Angelina survived the merge. That jacket thing showed how deliciously cynical she can be. Might make an interesting game in the merge.

She thinks she is smarter than she really is though. I can see why her and Natalie got along they are both bossy and think they could have controlled people. The other players see through her, she clearly didn't get her way tonight and she won't last long.
I am fine with Country girl going I hope Gabby is next because all she does is cry and that is getting annoying. Still rooting for Morrison, former fat cop is going to get bit by Kara I bet. He tells her everything so he isn't playing a good game in that aspect.

Fun merge episode. I´m really glad to see that the players aren't likely to stick with tribe lines.

I´ll second that I hope that Gabby goes next. She seems like a nightmare person to be in an alliance with since her insecurity and paranoia constantly make her always question everyone's loyalty and ironically enough make her the least trustworthy person out there.

Natalie is a boss! She was entertaining and I would have wanted to see more of her.

Fantastic episode. This season just goes from strength to strength. I was shocked, but pleased, that Angelina survived. Too bad Elizabeth had to go. She was tough, and her little feud with Carl was interesting.

Angelina was in the center of the drama in this episode. My point about her making an interesting game was about entertainment, and the drama in this episode was entertaining to watch. In that sense, I hope she stays as long as possible and provide more drama.

I agree it was a good merge episode, but disagree about the tribe lines. The Davids are clearly in the bottom and the Goliaths want to keep the tribe strong. That worries me because I don't want to see another "Navity Strong". Really hope there's no pagonging this season.

Maybe I missed something, but why did Elizabeth turn on Angelina like that? I understand why she did it to save herself, but to call her a b*tch and completely turn on her did way she did after Angelina tried to help her?

Because Gabby said to flip it on her and try to get her out. Neither Elizabeth or Gabby know how to persuade.

She does keep it on the entertaining side which is good for the show. Game wise I don't think she is good at all.
I think the Goliath's will stay strong for another vote or 2. The Mason Dixon guys are fluid in that they have connections. They are the only David's that have tried to work with Goliath players on a real level not just coat riding.

For me, as audience, entertaining game it's what matters. Michelle's game wasn't particularly interesting to watch, but it managed to make her win Koah Rong. I watch survivor for "characters" like Angelina. =)

Yeah, I guess so. Damn, in was just "wtf just happened to make them act that way" though. I thought Angelina was legitimately trying to help her.

Angelina was mad because the Goliath didn't go with her decision and left her out of the decision of voting Elizabeth. She told Elizabeth so she could plot something and maybe change the direction of the vote. And also, I believe he was another move to possibly get Elizabeth's vote on the jury.

Yeah, she went about that the wrong way.

Damn damn damn, but he is such a good sport about it. Wish John would have lasted longer but he is on the jury. I don't think he was more than a physical threat because he was just so chill and got along with everyone. That though would have won him the game since he pissed no one off. I was hoping Cara was the one to go. Alec plays both sides but he would have been good to get out too.
