Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

Colby sitting idly by while Amanda was forced to give Danielle back the clue was dumb. They should've just told her "Sorry *****. Finders keepers, losers weepers." Honestly, Colby is just a big bowl of disappointment this season.

Your bias against Russell is laughable. Russell is an electric player and is playing like a Villain should be playing. If the Jury doesn't see or understand the context of Russell's game then the fault that he doesn't win lies on the imbeciles on the Jury and not Russell.

:hehe: Are you serious? Playing like a villain should? Oooooooooookay, the point of the game is to win, not to put on some show. He's not playing to win - at all.

It boggles my mind that his fans think he's playing a great game. Uh, this is above all else a social game as Jeff Probst as said since the series premiere, and Russell does not play the social game, thus he never gives anyone any reason to vote for him to win.

Sandra has done NOTHING to impact the game at this point. Where are the "right moves" she has made and more importantly what were their results? The answer is: NONE. She couldn't convince Candice to vote Russell, yet she is a great and deadly player for having a failed scheme? Interesting! She tried to vote out Russell last night. Did it work? No, but to further illustrate how useless she is goes and votes for Amanda, like Russell wanted. hahaha Yeah, keep deluding yourself, SuperT, that Sandra is a better strategist than Russell. Sandra is nothing but a vestigial player, just like Colby.

There's a difference between not doing anything then aggressively trying to do things but people won't listen or they make their own stupid mistakes. Since day one, Sandra has been trying to make plays to turn this game around, or to let people know what's really going on. She's a perceptive player, she'll tell it like it is to your face and she's not afraid to back down.

She's making great inroads with the Heroes because she's now proven TWICE to them she's trustworthy and willing to work with them to turn this game around. She's making friends where necessary in order to secure those jury votes if she makes it to the final three.

Russell and Parvati may have idols or may walk around camp and gloat that they are in charge, but they are both two busy having an ego driven power struggle with each other that they're neglecting everything and everyone else in the game while Sandra scurries around and picks them up for herself.

Unfortunately for her, as I said earlier, Parvati is playing this game with less finesse then she did during Micronesia. She's letting Russell's ego and arrogance rub off on her to where they are now trying to one up each other. They're both going to do each other in sooner or later.

I love when people underestimate Sandra! It makes this season why more fun to watch!

Its not Sandra they are underestimating. She won the million due to a stupid play (Who doesn't go to the final two with the game's all time most hated player?) and the fact that she was up against someone who had already been voted out whose return pissed off A LOT of the players in Pearl Islands (notice how that twist hasn't been used since?).

No they are not underestimating Sandra at all. She is every bit as worthless as they all assume. Its the spite of the jury that Parvati, Russell, and Danielle are underestimating.

I just don't see how you cannot give credit to Russell, T. He is playing a brilliant game. In fact, his simply planting doubts in Candace's mind and then using that to bully her and Sandra into voting a way that at least Sandra and possibly Candace did not want to vote, show's how much control he has and how damn smart he is strategically. What Russell is doing takes brilliance. What Sandra is doing is keeping her mouth shut, doing what she's told, and hiding behind stronger players. Its pathetic strategy that gets rewarded because juries get spiteful.

Anyhoo...interesting update from Probst's blog regarding next season and immunity idols:

Jeff Probst said:
RUSSELL FINDS A THIRD IDOL

“I am the king of hidden immunity idols.” I’d have to agree. Over the last two seasons Russell has proven that he has an uncanny ability to find the idols. In fact, he’s so good at it that he’s forever changed how we will handle idols in future seasons.

INSIGHT: Next season it will take more than just looking under a rock to find a hidden idol. I won’t give away what we’re doing, but in planning our creative for next season we coined a phrase, “The Russell Factor” and it influenced how we will play the hidden idol next season.

When it comes down to it, the best idea is to bring back Exile Island, put ONE immunity idol there and once its gone, its out of the game.

Couldn't agree more. Colby allowed his team mate to have what could've very well been a one million dollar clue for him, wrestled from hher hands, because he was watching Treasure Island. Amazing.

I can't believe people use the bitter or spiteful jury argument. There's no such thing a bitter or non-bitter jury. Every jury is bitter, everyone wants to see sitting in the F2/F3 and not have to vote for someone else to win.

It's the mark of a good player that takes that element of the the game into consideration when it comes down to it. A good players knows that the people they are voting out are going to be on the jury, so they plan and vote them out accordingly and make the necessary connections in order to win at the end. Richard, Brian, Jenna, Chris, Aras, Todd, and Parvati (Micronesia) all did it.

I just can't wrap my head around how people can't see that Russell is not a brilliant player because he doesn't take that into consideration. For all of Russells supposedly "brilliant" moves he negates every single one of them because he's just an absolute a** to people, and directly to their faces.

As proof, last night when he said Sandra was just there - yea great play. You say she's can't win and is just there directly to her best alliance mate (Courtney) and two people you just screwed over (JT & Coach). That just gives them more ammo for when/if she does make the Top Three. She'd have to work a heck of a lot more than he did to get there AND all by herself.

Sorry, but he's not as great as people want to make him out to be. I truly be a great, or the supposed "Best Player Ever" you have to win. At his point, Russell has never won, and probably ever will.

I mean, when you have people saying stuff like this about you in their post show interviews, you have a problem:

Question: At the final TC, are you going to vote for who played the game the best, or who you like the most?
Amanda Kimmel: Whoever tries to get Russell out....

or

T: As a member of the jury, is it more important to you how the game is played or the social aspects when it comes to voting? That is the one thing Russell doesn't have. He plays a good strategic game, but I don't think people like him.

Amanda Kimmel: My thing is anybody who tries to get Russell out at this point … there were so many opportunities that could have turned against Russell. I don't know why he is still in the game to be honest. I don't know why people can't see through his b.s. At this point, I am a fan of anybody going against Russell. I think Russell is a great strategic player, but he is really unlikable. He is so arrogant. I am not a fan of arrogant people and he just rubs me the wrong way. I can't tell you why. He is the most arrogant person I have ever met in my life. He thinks he is God's gift to the world. It drives me up the wall. I think he is a brilliant strategist in the game of "Survivor." Beyond that I just can't stomach him.

You can't blame Colby, he was just watching Treasure Island :woot:

Seriously though, Amanda was ridiculous sitting on Danielle's side, than asking her to move over, than taking the clue like a 5-year-old. It was so desperate and immature, I'd have to side with Danielle. Even though she hid it in the worst possible place, that being the floor (instead of just putting it in her bottom piece or something), Amanda was too ridiculous for words.

Colby really didn't do anything wrong here. It's like if you were with a friend waiting in a ticket line for a movie, than your friend stole someone elses ticket and was like "dude let's go! i just stole these tickets!!". They both put Colby in an uncomfortable position by making him decide who was right when the guy just wanted to watch the movie.

Also, Colby rocked the reward challenge, so he's not a total disapointment this season. He's really turned around ever since he basically had given up earlier in the season.

I disagree. This isn't a movie ticket that Danielle paid for. It was a clue that rightfully belonged to all of them. Of course, it was Danielle's right to steal it, but the second she put it on the floor, it was fair game.

Yeah, I dont think the immaturity rule applies to this show. Anything goes. Except maybe murder.... then again, it is called Survivor.

In my opinion the immaturity rule apllies and Amanda crossed it. They're adults, not little kids. Not saying that Danielle had the right to steal it out of the popcorn, but Amanda went too far.

I don't think she went too far at all. I think she did the exact same thing ANYONE would do in that situation. Probst said in his blog that there's no set rules on ownership of the clue, and Danielle just threw down on the ground like a moron so Amanda did nothing wrong

Now Colby, he was quite pathetic. What a way to not have your own teams back.

Amanda and Colby were both idiots. I like Amamda but she needs more of a backbone

Reading Amanda's post show interviews, she said that they really edited down the fight between her Danielle.

She said both of them really did get down on the floor and physically wrestle for the clue. She said they edited it out because both of them were cursing up a storm and they couldn't show it on the show.

Ugh, that just makes me despise Colby even more...

At first I was on Danielle's side, regarding the clue, but as I thought about it I have to side with Amanda. Amanda found the clue sitting on the floor so she has every right to it as Danielle. It's like it is for the hidden immunity idols, it doesn't belong to the person that found it but the person that has it in their possession.

I'm with everyone on Colby. lol What a dope, even knowing that there might be a clue to another hidden immunity idol he sits there watching the stupid movie and chilling like he is on vacation. Meanwhile the two girls are actively looking and aware looking for the clue. I have no idea why Amanda would abide by his arbitration. He has no right to tell Amanda to give the clue back to Danielle. lol That whole scene was so crazy. I would love to see the full unedited scene. I would love to see all of Survivor unedited with the blurring and the bleeping.

Wow... just watched the Treasure island episode... truly a weird and exciting battle between amanda and danielle
and how danielle rambled on to her alliance after she joined them... -.-

And oh, good job to Russell for making a fool out of himself. Parviti is smarter than him, man

lmao, I would've love to have seen that. :hehe:

Yeah, knowing that the argument was alot worse than the episode showed...really makes Colby look even more ridiculous.

They should start selling unedited seasons diehards would lap it up I know i would. That's why Amanda will never win ever you don't need your team to back you up screw that you found it fight for it. Colby's a *****e. Russell too he should have saved it.

I can understand why Russell would play it.

I understand why he played it too but it still made him look like a silly, paranoid spaz.

Better to look like a silly, paranoid, spaz than pull an Ozzy or James and be voted out with an idol.

I'm just enjoying the fact hat Russell now knows he isn't the one calling the shots.

Wow, that second tribal council was amazing.

And with that move, not only did Russell just shoot himself in the foot but he just turned the gun around and shot Parvati in the foot too.
