Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

Am I the only one who thinks its not a big deal that Parv and Russell knew each other before the game? Maybe they went for a beer together because they realized they'd be playing together? Maybe it was a casting director who just ran her mouth to a friend. If so, so what? Every other player knew one another going in. It seems awfully unfair to Russell if he doesn't even get to know one.

No, you're not the only one. In fact, if anything I think it's helped him stay in the game longer than it could normally be expected.

Well, I think it's kinda shady because of the fact that she was apparently given information about how he played last season, how far he got, and was told to ally with him before the season even started filming.

I think that's kinda unfair, especially since the rest of the cast got absolutely nothing?

I didn't realize that the season finale was THIS sunday!

And sorry for triple posting, but I was just reading Candice and Danielle's post show interviews and this part is super shady:

Wow....

If they did know each other not really a big deal. The shady thing is they felt they couldn't answer which means CBS is now trying to rig survivor:doh:

I think CBS has always tried to rig it. They're just not being as secretive about it anymore.

I agree, I don't have a problem with them knowing each other before the show started - heck they all know each other.

The problem that I have is that Parvati was told how Russell played, how far he got, and to align with him to get far, while everyone else was told nothing. That's the only problem I have with the whole thing.

CBS didn't tell Danielle and Candice not to answer, they just chose not too themselves. That's what the blurb from the CBS rep says...

Examples?

I can't think of any specific examples right off the top of my head, but Big Brother is especially bad for trying to sway contestant votes in the diary room.

Rupert had it coming. The man is one of the worst strategic players in the game's history.

Beyond that, he's so arrogant. "Destine to win?" Please. Its like he expects people to roll over and let him win.

How sickening was it to watch Colby yelling at his brother during the reward challenge. I mean...seriously.

I know, he hadn't seen his brother in who knows how long and what does he do? He yells at him. What an ass.

also

I'm getting sick to my stomach at the thought of Sandra making it to the top 3 and winning the whole thing. If Russell doesn't get rid of her next it'll be his own damn fault for losing again. Because the jury will do like last season and vote for the most worthless pathetic player.

Maybe its a testament to their relationship. Thats how my brother and I would act. Doesn't mean we do not love each other.

I've never laughed harder at Survivor then during the scene with Parvati and Sandra mocking Russell openly to his face. I guess his plan to boot Danielle to get closer to Parvati failed because that only pushed her closer to Sandra now! :hehe:

And Sandra's voting confessional was just pure win. ""I'll write your name again and even if I'm up there in the final three you'll still give me the million dollars" LOL!

I'm just glad to see people standing up to Russell.

Sadly I accidentally clicked on the boot list a couple weeks ago and[BLACKOUT] no wonder certain members have been cheering on certain survivors all season. [/BLACKOUT]

Give me a ****ing break. Consider your ass ignored, especially when it comes to next season.

I think spoilers take alot of the fun out of the game.

I think we're seriously watching two people (Colby and Russell) have an actual mental breakdown this season.

There is something wrong with both of them. Colby just seems to have completely checked out mentally and physically. Russell just seems to be going completely mental asylum insane. It's kind of disturbing!

I was updating the first post and it hit me...Colby is the last remaining hero!?!?!

Wow...

Hmm, just a thought, what if the entire breakdown of Colby is not real? Lets face it, the guy got voted out of All-Stars because of the fact that he was the biggest physical threat in the game. Could Colby be throwing challenges to keep himself off of the radar?

I've had my fingers cross for Colby immunity challenge run to the finals because that would an awesome end to a tremendous season, but let's face it. That's just not going to happen.

Especially if it involves standing on something for long periods of time.

I thought Rupert sawing and breaking sticks right beside camp in the middle of the night was funny. Then I nearly died laughing when he started dropping boulders on the logs.

Parvati won't take Sandra to the finals, too many jurors love Sandra and her sassy comments. And Sandra isn't going to win any immunity challenges.

The way I see it, Colby and Sandra aren't winning any immunity challenges, and Parvati and Russell would rather take Jerri to the finals. So I think your stomach is safe.

Rupert's god complex has always made me wonder why he is so popular. He seriously comes across as an egotistical jerk. The one scene from this season that perfectly defines Rupert was the flint. He wasted half the magnesium flint trying to start a fire, JT asks for a go, "Well JT, you go ahead play with the flint, but you should know that it isn't as easy as it looks, it's very diffi... well I guess I'll go drop some boulders to make kindling for the fire."

I think calling him a bad player is giving him too much credit. For the most part he doesn't play the game. He's kept around to do yeoman's work around camp and because he's too dense and aloof to be a threat.

I read elsewhere the perfect assessment of Rupert's strategy. It's the exact same as Pearl Islands: Whoever does the most work around camp should win. :whatever:
