'Sword of Truth' aka Legend of the Seeker

Routh's on Chuck though and he's signed on for more episodes.

So what's the dealio with no new episode last week? I went to go watch the new one on Netflix and nothing!

Well we don't get a new episode EVERY single week. Also last weekend was super bowl weekend and in my market for example the show comes on Sunday so I imagine they didn't want to compete with Super Bowl or UFC that weekend.

it eats up a good portion of the book series, then they kind of figure out that Richard can't be confessed because he truly is devoted to Kahlan

They figure that out at the end of the first book and it is Richard who figures it out for himself and they get split up throughout the whole series several different times until the end of the last book.

Two 'top of their game' episodes in a row! The one with Richard in the Valley of Perdition, and yesterday's new episode where Kahlan gets split in half (logic/emotion) were just plain excellent, I thought!

The battle scenes always amaze me -- very quick cutting from one character to another, but you always get a sense of the flow of the fight. And they know just when to use slowmotion and when to use the hyper-clarity look.

And the range of emotions shown - wow! Even Cara getting misty-eyed over losing Leo. Very impressive.

My wife read the books and points out what is 'canon' and what isn't, but we both enjoy the show for its superlative production values on a TV budget.

Emo Kahlan and and Mean Kahlan are awesome! :D Now I want another Cara episode....she is my favorite.

Next episode looks great. Though i'm a bit worried for Cara! :/
I hope this season is doing well in ratings!!

Word is the show's canned cause Tribune isn't picking it up.
Weird. I always watched on the CW. Hope it finds a new deal.

Otherwise

I believe there was a blurb about the season finale episode a few days ago so they're going make the full number.

Maybe the CW could pick it up like UPN did for Trek.

It comes on every Saturday over here at about 4pm. Depends on the time slots I would assume.

If it gets canceled it wouldn't bother me one bit. Maybe we'll get a chance to have them adapted right.

It opens up Bridgets schedule for a certain movie TCK ;)

I like the show and hope it gets more seasons and unfortunately I missed most of season two working nights and all. I'll catch up online soon, though

i think it being in syndication put it behind the 8 Ball to start with, and if it failed in syndication I highly doubt any cable channel wants to take a shot

I know the only ones that would honestly give it a chance are SyFy, and possibly TNT, who seem to have no issues with taking on failing shows.

they took Southland because its a damn good show and NBC is ******ed

Disney sent me a letter though! They sent me a letter and a hologram card basically saying it would continue!

Why is everyone talking like it's canceled....was it?? =(

It's not cancelled per say. The channel, WGN/Tribune, that distrubutes it hasn't renewed the deal. ABC is the one that makes it, so they could find a new deal for syndication.

Like I said, here in N. Carolina, the CW shows it so maybe they'll pick it up.

The CW stopped programming Sunday nights and left it up to the local affiliates, so maybe they could strike a deal for a stable Sunday night?
