What would you say has the best controller , Xbox 360, or PS3? I like the fact the the PS3 has the 'motion senser' and is very light, but the 360 controller fits just so damn well in your hands, and has better button configuration...thoughts.....opinoins?

The PS3 controller is too light. It looks like I could throw it across the room and have it break no problem.

I love the 360 controller. LOVE IT.

I've played a PS3 and I don't like the new controller at all. The L2 and R2 buttons are too squishy and it's too light. The PS2 controller was so much better, I don't see why they had to change it.

The 360 controller however, is awesome. It fits so well in my hands and I don't need to have huge ones to use it like the Xbox 1 controller. Plus it's comfortable.

i'd say it's about a tie... i love my 360 controller, but i think the sixaxis' tilt function will eventually add quite a bit to their games. and, hopefully sony is listening to the negative feedback, and finding a way to get the rumble back in along with the tilt.

and i really don't think it's too light. it's a little lighter than the dualshock, sure, but i hardly notice the difference. also, um... who cares how much it weighs? any controller is going to break if you chuck it across the room, more than likely.

I love the PS3 controller. I like the redesigned R2 and L2 buttons as they are now "trigger" buttons. The motion sensing is a nice feature which I hope is incorporated more in future games. I like that the controller is nice and light in my hands, I often forget I'm holding it while playing which personally I like. Sort of makes it an extension of my hands. I wasn't happy when I heard there would be no rumble but after owning it now honestly I don't miss it.

Side note-The 360's controller is excellent, much improved over the original Xbox controller

360...the PS3 controller is just giving in to the ******s who think moving their controller up will make Crash Bandicoot jump higher or some s**t, and f**k those stupid f**ks right up there asses...they deserve to be kicked so hard that their testicals go into their throats, and then have their throats slit so there's multiple bodily fluids everywhere...I'm sorry, but I hate people who do that s**t, and this is just giving them a reason to continue :cmad:

360, if I was into sports game more than any other game.. then possibly ps3, but I'm into fps/rpg games, and the left analog stick is placed better.

fps/sports/rpg/racing games goes to the 360
fighting games goes to the ps2 controller

I tried the ps3, its ok I guess I just need some more time to get used to it. It's a big loss that it lost the rumble feature and the fact that its really light makes it feel weird for me, I actually like the weight on the controllers its just something I just grown into.

All of them are fine. If they werent they would have been designed differently along time ago.

gamecube controllers. the 360 is just too chunky, and not very well ergonomically designed.

hell yes.
Though I do have trouble getting to the Z button, It's so much more comfortable than the others.
The 360 controller is so much better than the PS3 controller.
at least Microsoft had the balls to change their controller a bit.

360 controller is the most comfortable I've been playing games from this gen. Haven't tried a Wii, but I do have a PS3 and the six-axis is too light. For games with the tilt, it never made me feel more immersed, it just made me feel silly since there's no weight or indication your movement is doing anything.

Last gen, I like the dual shock, but the analog stick positions feel awkward after you pick it up after a hiatus, and it was too sensitive. I also liked the original XBox controller, it was all snug in my hands, everything in just the right place aside from the black/white buttons. I didn't play much GC but from what I did, the controller was kind of... blah.

I ACTUALLY liked the Gamecube controler. It was nice and simple...in a way.

The 360 is so much more comfortable to use, PS3 is a piece of excrement.

I didn't like the design, it wasn't comfortable and despite the shoulder buttons being comfortable they felt awkward to use.

I agree with the GameCube controller as the best traditional controller.

I want to see a consule make a one handed controller that isn't hard to use.
That way you don't have to pause in the middle of a battle just to get a sip of your mountain dew.
