Taken 2

Guys, guys, what if...

What if in Taken 3...

His takers get taken? And he has to take them back because nobody takes Bryan Mill's takers?

I feel like I loved this trailer because of the 1st movie. The "listen to me speech" was terrible (not in a "so bad it's good" way) and the director, Olivier Megaton, is pretty bad. But I'll remain optimistic because of Liam.

that director is only good at directing action..

luc besson needs to stop handing him scripts

There's got to be more to this. I can't Liam's daughter coming to rescue her parents, unless in the years since she was kidnapped she somehow became an expert in hand-to-hand fighting. Nor can I see Brian just sitting there tied up for half the movie. Personally, I'd like to see Brian's friends from the first movie come rescue him and leave the kid at home. She was the weakest link of the first movie.

For the OP's points,
1. After being kidnapped, I could definitely see the daughter taking more of an interest in learning how to defend herself, with Brian probably teaching her a few things himself.
2. Even as a supposed hostage, I could see Brian doing things behind the scenes to help the daughter/ screw over the bad guys, though relying more on the mental/ psychological aspects of his former job than the physical aspects of it.
3. It would definitely be cool if Brian's old buddies play an active role, too, and it would certainly make sense that they'd do so. Maybe they can help further train the daughter.

My whole family and I loved the first one (My dad catches it every time he discovers it will be shown on TV), we'll have to see the sequel. I wonder which person in the trafficking ring the new baddie will turn out to be related to. Considering that Brian slaughtered the entire freaking syndicate from top (The disgusting auctioneer guy who admitted to having a daughter himself) to bottom (The equally disgusting "Recruiter," Peter), that could leave a lot of pissed- off relatives eager to get back at him.

Looks good to me.Interested in seeing where they will go in this one. This just goes to show that the skills he learned as a Jedi Master paid off when his daughter was Taken.Lol

 It has the same problem Hangover 2: no plot variation. Same formula.
Yeah, but Neeson is too badass for anyone to care.

If I was bryan I wouldnt let my family leave the zip code after this incident.

The bigger question is will we finally meet the real marco from trupuillo?

BRYAN: One shall stand, one shall fall!

MEGATON: Why throw away your life so recklessly?

BRYAN: That's a question you should ask yourself, Megatron. I mean, Megaton.

MEGATON: And why are you wearing that voice-changing helmet you got at Toys R Us?

BRYAN: Hey, shut up! :cmad:

Then in the third one. They come to the U.S. going after him. Maybe Kim can get a dog & they kidnap the dog & his jacket

Actually, I hate it when people borrow your DVDs and never give them back, or forget they have them. If Taken 3 goes this route, the audience will really get into the story, like they take Bryan's Criterion edition of Bottle Rocket. :cmad:

If the family/relative/friends want revenge for what he did, then they're no better than the scum he took out. :o

My question is why would you want revenge seeing the list of people he took out in the small amount of time to do it and how he took them out.

Because the guys in hell who were killed by Liam Neeson, Chuck Norris or Tony Jaa get special VIP room access.

TAKEN 3:
First they took his daughter. Then he was taken...now the takers who took his daughter and had taken him are taken and...LIAM NEESON is in it.

I liked the first one, but I can only suspend my disbelief so much. What, she gets taken again? Maybe it'll surprise me and be clever, but on the surface it seems making a sequel to this makes as much sense as making Speed 2.

Well this time the bad guys are trying to get revenge. Sort of like Die Hard with a Vengeance. It's still a rehash but at least feels like progression. Speed 2 was incredibly forced.

I really liked the first one. Liam Neeson was great in it. So I'll be seeing this one in theatres when it's out.

The trailer gave me a little more hope for this movie. Not sure if I want to see in the theatre yet.
