batman doesn't shoot guns (sans grappling gun).

As shown in Begins and in comic books.

In Begins he shot a guy in the foot at the asylum, and every vehicle batman has owned has had at least two cannons on it.

Yeah, but those cannon are only like.....show cannons.

Where did spoiler guy go on RT!!??

Can you expand upon this.

You claim the fake Batmen are led by Scarecrow, yet we know from what we've heard and read, including the slides and the citizens for Batman, that the fake Batmen are on Batman's side and are trying to help the city, why would they be following Scarecrow?

There is a scene in the slides where one of the Batmen asks Batman (the Avenger) what makes him any different from them, why would he be asked that if they were fighting against him?

If you're going to repost what I write, please keep the spoiler warning intact On one hand this for those that are skimming this carefully but don't want suprises ruined.

***SPOILER***SPOILER***

You're totally right, my slip-up. This is literally the second scene in the film, and I remembered wrong. Scarecrow makes an appearance in the beginning, in full form with mask and all. Batman copy-cats try to foil his plan, somewhat unsuccessfully. Scarecrow laughs wondering where the real Batman is, CRASH - the tumbler comes rolling through the wall - but it's empty. Where is he? From the shadows he appears beating down Scarecrow henchmen/Batman copy-cats alike.

Like you said, the copy-cat says -"What makes us different?"

Batman replies - "I'm not wearing hockey pads," and rolls off in the tumbler.

ha ha ha. I don't see how anyone could confuse Scarecrow leading the vigilantes, with the vigilantes showing up to kick his arse. ha ha

On one hand this guy must feel pretty confident about then new info he's putting out. Certain bits of dialogue, Joker "making a pen disappear" at the mob meeting (WTF). Or on the other maybe he just doesn't care about getting caught out eventually.

Just because he has guns doesn't mean he'll shoot people. Blasting away infrastructure, roadblocks etc. He used rockets to blow up walls in Begins and we've seen a t.v. spot where he uses the pod to shoot parked cars in his path. I don't see what the big deal is with the batpod's cannons.

rifles, hand guns, etc.

Anything that shoots bullets at people.

Am i the only one around here that reads the comics? Or are you all Frank Miller fans? ugh.

As opposed to 89 Bats who flew around straifing a parades.

A gun is a gun and he uses them throughout the history of the character, he even SHOOTS A GUY IN THE FOOT IN BEGINS, I'm not saying this is horrible, I'm just saying he uses guns

actually, the criminal pulls the trigger. He just redirects the guy's hand.

He was shooting those MACHINE GUNS at the Joker in B89 from his bat-plane as well

No, he simply points the gun that was being held by the thug, to the other guy's foot. He never pulled the trigger.

I'd actually like to see him using rifles to shoot grappling hooks and stuff

so if I force the gun to your head while you pull the trigger, then its not homicide or at least assisted suicide

No one can say for certain whether Bats pulled the trigger or not. The lighting wasn't bright enough and the cuts are too fast to ascertain one thing or another.

The benefits of high-definition picture and slow-mo say otherwise.

The Batman suit is new, complete with gloves that fire off bat-spike things, Wayne needs something lighter for a stealth mission in Hong Kong and then the suit is used throughout the movie. The helmet is based on a motorcycle helmet so that Wayne can now turn his head, "Helps me back out of the driveway", he says.

So the guy says the batsuit is formed for the sake of the Hong Kong mission? What about the reports we heard earlier about the batsuit being destroyed by the Joker or something like that and Bats needing a new suit because of that?

thus why he pointed it down so it wouldn't cause life threatening damage and not to mention you trying fighting someone with a gun. Hell, just fire a gun. See how fast it goes off.

Then fire a gun while scared pissless out of your pants fighting a martial artist crazy in a bat suit that just came out of no where.

Your argument is stupid, please just let it go.

No, if he was anti-gun, he wouldnt have the cannons or machine guns on his vehicles, and he wouldnt have "helped" the thug shoot himself in the foot

No one is stupid here. Wait, scratch that. We all might be stupid for arguing about the projectiles Batman uses and how he uses them.

I heard that too
but I think his version sounds more like something they would incorporate in the movie and the reports less likely, although the indifferences Do take credit away form his review.

but still he seems pretty legit to me, Im just not gonna look into it further this way if hes not legit good i havent spoiled much for myself and if he is good its gonna be a great movie

"why don't you stop talking now Champ? Sit the next couple plays out?"

- Jow

You know your argument's failing when you start insulting and speaking in movie quotes.
