Yup, that's what he means. :)

As for Dangerous' quest to watch TDK on Imax...

I could go watch today on a regular screen, but then the impact/effect would not be as great as watching on Imax for the first time.

It is quite galling tho..
The Imax showings are selling out because of all the hype and most of those ticket sales are from non comic readers.

I think tuesday I'll make my move.

I'd seen TDK on a regular screen before I saw it in IMAX and I wouldn't say I enjoyed it any less.

That's reassuring, I was going to watch it in IMAX first but it's still fully booked. So this weds it's regular cinema for me.

That's what I'm doing too, taking my Mum,Sister, & Brother to see it on Wen, Orange Wen ftw.

Seen it, loved it, will discuss further in the spoilers forum.

But one thing- it is ridiculous that a 12 year old can watch a film that made my (twenty-something) girlfriend feel sick with anxiety.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it, regwec. :yay:

Yeah I just came from seeing (seen it 3rd time) TDK my girlfriend's friends came too they didn't like how Two-Face looked and said it was "disturbing"

TDK should been 15.

Always knew I would, really. I still would have done some things differently, but there was enough goodness for me not to spend much time nitpicking.

Have you seen it yourself, yet?

"Top Gear" just used the "Why So Serious?" music in one of their items. Cool! :-)

Yeah, I saw it Wednesday, on iMAX. Absolutely loved it, one of the best cinematic experiences of my life. I tried to see it again, on both Thursday and Friday, but was thwarted by every single showing being sold out. :csad: On the plus side, this meant I got to see "Wall-E", which is a wonderful film.

I'm gonna try and see it again tomorrow.

Is it wrong that I was laughing at all the 10 year olds crying their hearts out during TDK yesterday.

My cousin has been banned from watching it and he is 11, I dont think it is appropriate for youngsters.

It is not a family film, they should have made it a 15.

How would you rate the iMAX experiance? (I love that phrase :funny:). It's been hell trying to organise various family and friends into a showing, we've been postponed twice and I'm wondering whether to just take them to an ordinary cinema. Is it that good?

12A doesnt always mean family

it's just a depiction of how gory it is, saying that it should be a hard 12 and not a 12A, a six year old with their parents doesn't need to see a pencil going through someone's head...

NO! I was hoping to see it in IMAX in the Glasgow science centre when I come up next week. Hopefully it wont still be fully booked by then.

man that was so awesome! They also used a bit from the main theme (or the I'm Not A Hero part, I'm not sure) for Richard's review. Almost made up for a lacklustre episode (that and the race with the Stig at the end)

Jezza Clarkson had a little joke about Bales alleged mother hitting incident too.

Seems Top Gear have regularly used scores from superhero movies.

I remember them using Molossus a lot when BB came out. Mind you, who didn't use it?? lol

I'm going to hit the local cinema again tonight aiming for the Imax, can't still be sold out.

I'm feeling lucky.

i like clarkeson, he just says it how it is and doesn't pussyfoot around things. i especially like it when he slams all those idiots who care more about the enviroment than the state of the economy!!! but i can understand why he rubs some people up the wrong way. whens the repeat on anyway?

Anyone read Uncut magazine? Gave it a rather paltry 3 stars! Said it was too long and the hong kong segment could have been excised. Disappointing really considering I seem to recall them giving Mission Impossible 2 full marks!

Cosmo Landsman of the times gave it 2 stars. Every other times critic gave it 5 stars. :o
