I got both the TS's to see which was better, not even watched them yet lol

I'm hoping there is a good TC soon

It means Telesync, it's when a camera is taken into the cinema to record the film, but the audio is direct, ie, not recorded in the cinema

aint you seen it yet? theres some good TS torrents if your into that thing.

If that was my thing, do you really think I would waiting for middle-back seats in Imax to become available for my first viewing?

:whatever:

lol ok man no worries. its just there is some desperate peoples out therre! ;)

oh yea i watched the top gear repeat tonite, thats quality that they used the dark knight music. why so serious sounded sickening at the start.

don't usually watch it but I just saw a "Why So Serious?" poster/board thing on big brother. Quite a cool thing to see

I saw that also. Not that i watch Big Brother :o

There is a loophole in BFI IMAX's (Waterloo, London) booking system, and it is being exploited.

All you need to secure a seat is your card detail, well, except the important bits.

the system does not ask for the CVV code at the back of the card or your security code for interenet purchase (i.e. the master card has an added layer of security). THe box office doesn't even have Chip'n'Pin in place??!!

therfore, even if you don't turn up, the cinema cannot charge your card for the booked tickets.

So, someone can book into a good seat and doesn't turn if the timing become inconvenient.

For pig sack there are ppl who haven't watched it in IMAX OR geniunely trying to get in for the 2nd time. It's absurd for some di*khe*d to abuse the system and the public.

I was at the cinema on the 25th, 5:30 AM, and I could tell although that show was fully booked four days beforehand, there were at least 10% empty seats at the night (well, morning)

It has been a week since my 1st time, and like most of you I would like to see it again, again, and again, in IMAX. However, the lousy management at BFI IMAX and self-centered as*ho*e just don't get it.

well, if there are empty seats that you want, could you not just move into them if they remain empty?

Thanks for the idea, but You failed to interpret my obviously stated point:

Genuine audience can't get into the IMAX because of other people's false booking.

Does IMAX allow you to sneak into the auditorium for empty seats minutes before the show when it is displayed as "fully booked" on their system? I do not think so.

how do you know it's false booking?

People could have genuine reasons for not turning up.

I had booked IMAX tickets for in Leeds, and I couldn't turn up due to my joker make up from the night before causing me to go to A&E and then be in immense pain when my eyes were open

Got my tix to see it for the first time ever tmr, 12:00 noon, got the day off work too.

Boo-yah!

Please only speak for yourself,

It's a fact that there is a loophole in their booking system, and inevitably it will be exploited.

by the way, I feel sorry for your eyes, may want to try Lancome next time.

Well its obviously not a fact otherwise IMAX would have sorted it out so it couldn't happen. Plus do you really think that people just sit at home booking tickets for IMAX with no intention of going? Probably not, because if you spent enough time on the IMAX website figuring out this dumb idea you have you would realize that the tickets are quite expensive.

Just got back from Imax noon screening.

Awesome film, but after all the hype, critical praise, and my own self generated independent expectation, it did not blow me away.

Begins did when I first saw it.
I'd probably rate TDK 8.5 right about now, BB was a 9 for me.

For me, I enjoyed it a whole lot more when I saw it a second time, so maybe if you see it again you might like it more.

Did anyone else see in the paper today that The Dark Knight has gotten some complaints? It has received complaints because it is rated 12A, and parents thought that its a bit too um..."scary(?)" for kids. I actually agree I definately dont think this should have been rated 12A, easily should be a 15.

I'll ordered mine couple of weeks ago from WS, it's a great read outside. I recommend to any Batman fan or not

I got my TDK Novelization by Dennis O'Neil today. I'm into page 23 there is stuff that we haven't seen in BB movie. It's a great read so far.

For UK Batman fans I suggest Waterstones website

http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/displayProductDetails.do?sku=6213035

I bought mine last Thursday but I haven't started to read it yet as I have a driveup to Scotland on Wednesday/Thursday hopefully I'll get around to reading it as I'm also taking Arkhan Asylum, The Long Halloween, year one The killing joke and watchmen

So the London IMAX just added another 3 weeks of Dark Knight bookings...
