The Dark Knight Teaser Poster Coming?

Alright after 15 minutes, I give up on trying to do your poster with heath lol.

IM gonna give try my own but I do want to use your hands that you put. :yay:

that's not so bad. i couldn't do anything close to that good. not bad at all.
 
diablo needs to add a poll to this thread and ask who would like this poster. who wants the joker holding/crushing a bat poster, who wants the exploding logo, who wants something else.

it never got that way with nicholson, because of the huge prosthetic on nicholson's face which changed his face.

yeah... heaths eyes are actually like dark mirrors of pure insanity in some pics... i know a lot of people hyped about Ledger as Joker, and i can barely contain how excited i am ( from the first image..this Joker is under my skin and in my mind messing with me )... Heaths an exciting, intense and volatile actor.. you cant take your eyes off him and his weird energy and unpredictability make him a beautiful fit for Joker. yeah he's made some lame teen films, but he's past that... he's actually the real thing, a dark star in the making.. dangerous, likable, intelligent, borderline crazy, nearly supernova, a scarily talented actor. He's a bold and inspired piece of casting. This is young Joker.. so i thank God they didn't cast some predictable skinny eccentric wretch to play him. Making Joker younger, a rock-star anarchist demon clown, with sort of messed up good looks, is a very good move by Nolan and a smart change from the standard Joker cliche. To me he has already disappeared into the Joker and i cant wait to see him onscreen.. I can feel in my gut that he will blow us away. I think Nolan is respecting the true Joker here in a way that is complex and adult and classic.

I have nothing against Jack Nicolsons / Burtons Joker, i love that film. but i can't really see the Joker .. i just see Jack Nicolson playing Joker. With Heath I think we are going to finally see the mass murdering, utterly insane, mass killing dark clown-prince of crime we love from the comics. ****ing bring it on.

So does anyone know roughly when we might see the poster? if there is buzz in the ether i think it can't be far off.... we need some solid news cos this forum has gone crazy recently.. starved of info, cabin fever, the bends, hallucinations...

i agree 100%. this should be THE definitive on screen joker.
 
Agreed. The performance is 90% of the deal for me, even the best of actors could easily screw up the Joker and come off embarrassing, although he'll probably be great. Or at least unique
 
yeah, that's why i said should. i mean, i think it's easy to mess up as well. so i'm not saying he will without a doubt be as great as i hope he will be. but i want him to be the best joker ever.

great post. you put it better than i could have said it. I think hiring Ledger will be the best decision of the entire proccess for this movie.
 
I'm sure this has been posted here before, but I just came across it and I'm wondering what the hell it is! It couldn't have been from Wizard World because it was posted on Flickr way before that. The page is in French so I'm not 100% sure, but I think the guy is calling it an "official teaser" or something...
