Ted 2 gets release date...and it's summer 2015

This is probably going to have Hangover 2 syndrome and be ****ing terrible while milking gags from the first movie.

I don't know about that. The first two Hangover movies were very formulaic in that they were sort of restricted to what they could do because it all revolved around them trying to remember what they did the night before. The third one veered away from that, but by then it was too late.

Even the Jump Street movies were restricted because they both revolved around the two main characters being 10 years older than the students they were portraying.

Ted is different. They could go so many places with it and still have the jokes feel fresh.

they are filming right now. it looks like Wahlberg has a new girlfriend played by Seyfried.

the first movie had a cute story and it ended with the wedding. i hope they didnt get divorced.

MacFarlane handling the issue of racism? Hasn't he learned yet that his commedy has a limited range? South Park and Classic Simpsons know how to handle social issues well with comedy, but MacFarlane usualy comes off as pretentious and unpleasant. Didn't find Ted funny, but it was a decent and a charming story, can MacFarlane do that again? This time it doesn't seem like the plot offers the possibility of as much heart, so i doubt it will be as good.

It was well received across the board, not just domestic but international. The ****ing thing is still huge in Japan right now.

Liam Neeson joins 'Ted 2'

Ted better be careful, because Liam Neeson doesn’t mess around.Sources have confirmed that Neeson has joined the cast of Ted 2, which writer/director Seth MacFarlane tweeted on Wednesday. Sources also confirmed the casting of Morgan Freeman, which was reported earlier this month.

There’s no word yet on what type of guy Neeson will play, but let’s just hope he appears as himself, because we know how much Ted and John love an action star. Could Neeson be this film’s Sam Jones?

Ted 2 is set to be released in theaters June 26, 2015.

He didn't add an awful lot to A Million Way To Die In The West... so let's hope he has a better role with this one.

trailer leaked with unfinished effects. i dont have it. google it.

MeeeeeeeeEH

I saw it as well. Only part that even got me to chuckle was the SLJ bit.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Some of the 'jokes' in Family Guy and American Dad, make me wonder if Macfarlane may be a closet-racist himself.

Didn't care much for Ted. It had an interesting premise, but failed in its execution. It went too much for shock value. Pooping strippers, 'beat up the jew' gag, the two main characters snorting cocaine, and the movie starting with a husband complimenting his wife on a great bj just made the movie juvenile and distasteful. It didn't really have a 'heart' to tie it all together, like other great comedies. You can tell the creators of the film tried in the end, but like Peter Griffin, Ted just came across as a nasty, irredeemable S.O.B.

Family Guy is a adult show, but thanks to network censors, the humor is dialed back a bit, and I think that works to its favor. With an R-rated movie, Seth is able to go as nuts as he wants to and it just makes the whole thing an unpleasant experience.

I'm definitely going to see it, but I'm pretty sure they recycled the sperm donor gag from Family Guy.

It seems like every two weeks, Hollywood decides that on a day where they'll flood the world with news. Posters, teasers, casting news, you name it!

Ha. MacFarlane shall get my money again. I do enjoy his humor I won't lie.

Looks hilarious.

Although that sperm gag was used in Family Guy and, kinda, American Dad. Oh well I still laughed at it this time.

I didn't laugh at the trailer. At all.

McFarlane's humor just isn't funny anymore. 100 Million Ways to Die in the West was awful.
