Well, in regards to the whole Spoony Twitter Meltdown Debacle, Rob Walker stated that Channel Awesome did not fire Spoony. Apparently, Spoony quit over a disagreement he had with Channel Awesome's rules regarding Twitter:

That's great, Cause he probably just left under the influence of a hypomanic state.

Or it was something a lot more mundane like Spoony felt that he should have the right to respond to his fans and critics how he sees fit, while Channel Awesome told him that since he's an employee of the site he needs to interact with people on Twitter in a professional manner since he technically represents them. At least that's what I'm surmising. :cwink:

I agree, But As I said before, I think that That "Feeling" was brought up by a hypomanic or manic state.

A hypomanic state is when you feel normal. That's probably the best time for someone with bipolar 2 to make decisions.

NC is doing a review with JesuOtaku. I would love have her in my base....

I feel like this has been said already. :o

I actually was hoping he'd like this more than Pokemon (in better words; hate it less), that line he said about Pokemon at least trying to give a lesson melted all my hopes away. His Pokemon review is one of my favorite episodes though, this one was pretty dull

Really forgot the movie starts with that scene from Angela Anaconda, I remember back then thinking this was an episode of that show, not something seriously ridiculous added

Starting clip with the E-Mails is awesome, and the way he showed that message after doing what it reads made it better. The JO signal scene is gold

Did he make a top 11 reasons he won't review Digimon? My bro said he did that, didn't find a video like it

I'll be perfectly honest, this is the first time I've ever heard about this Angela Anaconda thing. At no point during the times I've watched the Digimon movie, and believe me, thats been a few times in my youth, have I ever seen it. Hell I never even knew it existed until today.

I knew Digimon: The Movie wasn't going to walk away unscarred. That movie was horrible. Poorly paced, a plot that made no sense, and it was completely inaccessible to anyone who didn't already watch the TV show.

Then JO said that thing about it really being 3 movies spliced together, and it all made sense.

You didn't know that already? Man there's a 4th movie with Ken in it that could so easily have been spliced on the end.

So what are the three unspliced movies like?

I think they're all pretty good on their own.

Personally, though, my favorite would have to be the original Japanese version of Our War Game (which was used for the second part of Digimon: The Movie). There's a few extra scenes of important exposition, like Yamato (Matt) and his little brother Takeru (T.K.) trying to find a computer to help Taichi (Tai) defeat the evil Digimon. The original dialogue doesn't contain any of the unneccessary and stupid humor added into the American version. The soundtrack is also different and more subdued in parts, but it really works. It almost comes across as an entirely different movie.

The same pretty much applies to the other two "films".

Personally I think Summer Wars handled the whole concept better than the second Digimon movie.

I agree. The consequences were more far-reaching in the real world, and it was made a little more personal, due to the family dynamic.

Also, both were direct by Mamoru Hasoda, which explains the similarities in the concept.

That awkward moment when I see one of you on the comments page. :argh:

It can't be me unless you like to sift through several pages of comments. Or you watched Maven's review of Abe Lincoln.

I still don't have a TGWTG account.

I leave the occasional comment, but I think I've posted in the forum a grand total of twice. And that was way back when the site was still new.

I hate their login system. Seems completely broken.

I have an account, but I can never remember the password, or which username I use for that site.

He likes the new Spider-Man movie more than the ones before, nice

Okay, what's going on with Brad and Jillian? I heard they were separated or divorced or something, but the new movie vlog shows that she's still cooperating with Brad on his videos. It starts with Jillian and Sarah saying they were sent to go see Magic Mike by Brad.
