when I first joined the Hype, I started a thread about roommate troubles (I was having arguments with my roommate at the time). I got nothing but grief from the people in that thread. I learned to never start a thread that's personal to you. So that's the memory I hold closest to me.

I've always been private about my real life, however I never hesitated posting about my life if the topic came up and I could provide some sort of relatable information.

I posted when I became a licensed Professional Engineer. I post about past relationships.

I think it's always on how you post it and how you handle it.

No offense Prison Mike, knowing what I know of SHH, I don't want to say you did something to provoke people but yeah......

I posted here long enough to know, if you post something personal and have an attitude with responses, you are going to have to handle a s' storm.

However, I'm sure that was a while ago and SHH has become more child friendly as well as getting rid of most of the ruthless posters.

I don't exactly remember how I reacted to some posts. It was over 2 years ago and I was a newbie at the time. I'm sure there were posters who were more blunt and straightforward and I just wasn't used to that. I know now how most people here are so I think if I ever start a thread about my personal life, I will react better.
