Yeah, John Mayer winning over Timberlake was just, whuh?!? Mind you, JT's album could have been better, but if he had to lose, did John Mayer really have the bettere album?!?
the grammys suck.
The Chili Peppers not winning album of the year after putting out their absolute best stuff since BloodSugarSexMagik is quite disappointing to me.The Dixie Chicks won purely for political purposes, and anyone who argue sotherwise has their head lodge so far in the clouds (among other places) it's not even funny.
Personally, the three albums I felt were this year's best were snubbed, and the fact that Corinne Bailey Rae and John Mayer didn't get their proper awards was mind boggling. I'm glad ti was Mayer who beat out McCartney in the Male Pop Vocal category, because if it was any of the other nominees I would've been pissed. Paul's song "Jenny Wren" was beautiful, and it's a shame not enough people heard it.
Easily one of the highlights of the night. I felt almost proud to see her go up there, all the nerves in the world and millions of people watching you, and deliver a really strong performance. At times she did look like someone who just won a contest to get up there and sing, but she nailed it vocally and held her own.
Bravo.![]()
It was Da Chicks night!

t:if anyone watched american idol tonight, robin troup was on it.
it's hollywood week and they were split up into groups. she was in the group with sunshine head, and she wasn't on for very long.
obviously, she didn't make it thru since she was on the grammy's, but it was kinda funny
