The 2007 Grammys

I am so Tired of Stevie Wonder, and Mary J. Blige, for that matter.

I can. No one is immune anymore.

dear jesus...the chili peppers?

are you joking?

they've been writing the same song for like, 10 years now.

And FS/LS is the pinnacle of songwriting? Eh, no.

Arcadium was pretty darn good funk rock.

Go Dixie Chicks!
I wouldn't mind seeing Corrine Bailey Rae winning record of the year.
Everyone else just blows.

I bought that album a couple of weeks ago. Started playing it, and fell asleep. I plan on getting back to it sometime.

fs/ls is the pinnacle of pop/dance music. period. aside from the knife's silent shout album, timberlake made the best album of the year.

and the peppers lost their funk after bloodsugarsexmagic.

I haven't bought the album. It's not really my type of music.
But I think she is a really talented singer and is gorgeous.

Sometimes it's not about the innovation of songwriting, it's about instrumentation. In that resepct RHCP is second to none. They have one of the best bassists of all time and one of the two guitarists (Along with Derek Trucks of The Allman Brothers Band) that I would say stack up to some of the greatest gutarists of all time.

That and I think their songs are really good. They may not be the greatest innovators, but they still write some of the best funk songs on the market today.

Really? I mean, I like Justin and all, but I didn't think FS/LS was THAT good. Again, he took some artistic chances that you can't help but respect, but the album just didn't wow me.

Mayer wins Best Pop Vocal Album over Timberlake.

"my love" is the best song of the year, hands down.

it's not so much justin, either. i mean, yeah he's great...but timbaland's production is amazing. he's ahead of his time on this album.

QFT. That album simply hooked me in from the moment "Dani California" kicks in.
