The 26th James Bond Film

I could see him doing a really intriguing masculinity in crisis type Bond. I think that would be fascinating.

I wonder who his first nemesis would be? It would be fun to have a really intriguing actor for him to bounce off

Hugo Drax, whose scheme is that he wants to buy and utterly destroy a social media platform in an effort to promote misinformation and chaos across the digital stage.

I was really lost with no time to die!! Seemed to disjointed they tied things together that made me go wait..what?? The character tie ins didn’t make much sense to me!! Reboot and start over if not I think the bond movies should be yes time to die

Elon IS verging on being that guy from Tomorrow Never Dies... Who I think himself was based on Murdoch...

I think TND, as a concept, was probably made a bit too soon for most audiences to really get it .
It was before social media, cable news being what it is today, twitter, etc.

Murdoch was around and on the move of course, but the media landscape of 1997 was not what it is today.

If they made it in the 20 teens and 2020s , it probably would have resonated more with audiences and perhaps critics.

That has been my thought about it as well for quite some while now.

The only brosnan film I've rewatches recently was goldeneye, but his others it's been at least since 2002. I forgot so much of those movies!

Question for people here. If I was a fan of most of brosnans bond films and of course Craig's Bond movies, would I be able to get into the older ones? I've only seen I think Dr. No and maybe From Russia With Love from the pre-Brosnan and Craig eras.

If you like the basic structure of Bond films, you'll most likely enjoy the older ones. For Connery, I'd suggest From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. For Moore, Live and Let Die and The Spy Who Loved Me. And for Dalton, The Living Daylights.

Personally, while there are certainly some movies in the series I wouldn't call great films, I've never not been at least entertained by all of them.

I hope the next iteration of Bond films make up for the inconsistent villain quality we got with Craig’s films.

Yeah, I mean other than Quantum of Solace, they’ve all been the best since the Moore days, and Javier Bardem is arguably the best Bond villain since the Connery days.

I liked Alec and Le Chiffre more than Javier's villain, personally.

Gotta go to bat for Dominic Greene. The least of Craig's villains, sure, but there's a sniveling Eurotrash grossness to him that really clicks.

I’ll be honest when I first saw the film I thought they hired Roman Polanski to play the villain lol I guess that aged well.

I actually think the Brosnan era was highly disregarded for its villains. Like think about Xenia, Renard, elektra and Elliot Carver. Also Willem dafoe from the games!

this is extremely exciting news. I really am intrigued by this idea. Just hopefully they give him a vocal coach to give his voice a bit more deepness because if you actually hear him talk he’s very high pitched
