Yeah somehow he’s flown under the radar unlike other ***holes like Chris Pratt and Alicia Silverstone but he’s been a part of this nightmare too. Makes me really angry because I was a fan; The Matador is one of my favorite movies and of course Goldeneye is god tier Bond. But he’s a real POS.

How are they already screen testing actors?

Either this is going to be the most rushed James Bond movie in history, or this rumor is just like all the other screen testing/actor rumors: A bunch of bull****.

Don't they screen test actors based on a specific scene from one of the early Connery movies?

Also, I'm pretty sure that casting directors supervise the initial stages of the audition and screen test process, and the director then comes in to take a look at the "finalists" (in addition to that, the choice for a new Bond actor has always been a "team choice").

Not saying I want it to happen but I don't think it's THAT controversial for an American to play Bond. He's been played by an Australian and an Irishman in the past. If English actors can play Spider-Man and Superman, an American actor playing Bond is fair game under the right circumstances.
