Considering the high-profile controversy around Amber Heard hasn't affected any of her roles, I doubt something like Stanfield's chatroom drama, which a) seems fairly unknown compared to the Depp/Heard drama and b) he already came out to talk about, apologize for and explain (whether you take his explanation as fact is another story), is going to affect his career in any significant way.

The singer Doja Cat had a super similar chatroom drama situation a year+ ago and barely anyone even remembers or cares anymore, and she's had top hits left and right since on the same label. Even if Lakeith is genuinely anti-Semitic, which is possible, I doubt it will affect his roles unless a director specifically doesn't want him for a role because of it. The only way a career is going to get hurt significantly like that is if it's criminal in nature (ie. Armie allegations), and even that sometimes doesn't last forever.

That said, I think he has made himself a bit too obvious with his Joker campaigning - same with Bautista for Bane. I'm sure Reeves will choose somebody super surprising, even if we all have our fancasts, so I highly doubt it will be him. I'm sure he'd be pretty good though.

Mahershala Ali’s Cottonmouth was kind of what I’m picturing for the gangster side of Harvey’s Two-Face persona.

Sterling K. Brown is probably my first choice for Harvey right now.

He is close to Reeves (he was in the last Planet of Apes) and to Serkis too (Carnage...).

My only question is: which villain could he play?

To me, he could be a great Hugo Strange.
