Strongly dislike Azrael.

Tower of Babel is one of all time favourite JLA stories. Sheer, unrestrained Mark waid awesomeness.
So-so movie, though...

The movie was kind of a brand new story really. It used the idea of Batman having plans to take down the jla but it was pretty different apart from that

I dug Tower of Babel but i wasnt crazy about how afterwards Batman was being written as even more of a dbag for the next few years and even more paranoid and jerk-ish

The only thing I hate more than the overexposure/deifying of Batman is seeing him written as a jerk. Especially in the animated adaptation I came away wishing somebody would just kick him in the nuts.

I always thought Batman's Anti-Wonder Woman thing was lame. Like, yes, I guess Diana is competitive and stubborn, but she's also not stupid. I'd think she'd reach the point of "Wait a minute, nothing about this situation makes any goddamn sense" long before she tired herself to death.

That Wonder Woman didn't show anywhere near enough anger towards Bats for what he did - which also led to her hurting/killing innocent bystanders - annoyed me greatly. She should have been steaming mad at him but I guess Dwayne McDuffie (RIP) was still shipping them from his JL/JLU days.

That Wonder Woman didn't show anywhere near enough anger towards Bats for what he did - which also led to her hurting/killing innocent bystanders - annoyed me greatly. She should have been steaming mad at him but I guess Dwayne McDuffie (RIP) was still shipping them from his JL/JLU days.

Diana never struck me as a steaming mad type. I'd expect more of an "I'm not mad, just disappointed" mom kind of anger from her.

I don't get why people got so upset about him wearing kryptonian armor "when he's already invulnerable". For most of his history, Superman's suit has been just as indestructible as his skin but nobody seemed to mind for 70 years. Then when they switched from indestructable cloth to actual body armor fans were like "that don't make no f'n sense!!" You can ding it for being ugly that's fair, though

I dig her

Her feelings of annoyance and loathing for the stupidity of humanity in general is a feeling I can relate to after having been forced to watch the Twillight movies

I wish they did more stuff with her. I know it's a little token-y, but I think teaming her up with Katana would be neat. I think they'd have good chemistry together, I feel like they'd constantly argue like a married couple (which is never not fun), and they could be like the Japanese Batman and Superman. It'd be especially cool if they played up the contrast between their lives, having Katana mostly deal with gritty vengeance driven noir and Dr. Light having wacky Ultraman style adventures and finding zany ways to mesh them.
