Just cancelling this outright is ugly but solves so many problems for the new people in charge of the DC division of WB pictures. Ezra Miller is super F’d six ways to Sunday.

At this point. Keaton and Affleck will have to do all the talk shows and red carpet. Even if by some miracle Ezra is not guilty of everything, his image is toast.

I'm going to go against conventional wisdom and say I do think WB would be better off getting out in front of this and announcing that they can't condone this behavior and they are gone, but it is too late to alter the current completed film. Then downplay them in marketing as much as possible and hope people forget about them by next year and focus on Keaton.

But if they don't do that, Miller will hang over this film right up through release. It will be unavoidable. Being an insane jerk who gets into fights is one thing. Grooming 12 year olds is order of magnitudes worse, and I don't think WB can afford in any way to be seen as tolerating that.

Yeah, being honest etc is the only way to go for WB...after Whedon, after heard...being quiet is giving out the wrong signs.

They cant just cancel the movie, thats not really an option...so be honest with it and focus on what always was meant to be the focus...Keaton.

It is bad publicity either way, but you can at least safe face a bit by openly stating that Millers behaviour is unacceptable for the studio.

All due respect to your above comments about WB ‘being honest’, but this is a Hollywood movie studio/corporate conglomerate monstrosity. They are not gonna be honest and candid with fans. This stuff is gonna be going to court. Miller could be on trial when this is coming out!

I for one am not seeing this. Ezra Miller is an evil person flat out. There will be boycotts and protests at the premiere. It’s gonna be a catastrophe that no fun comic book movie is worth.

If this does get worse, I do wonder if Keaton or Affleck would want to do press and all. If the Feds do get involved, we could possibly learn far more, and who would want to be defending this in the press.

Both actors could be prepared, but still it could be quite ugly, and if the press are not allowed to ask questions about the case, I would think many main line press would mention that in their articles, or not interview at all.

Also, Affleck has proven with the press junket for B VS S, that as the film was being savaged, he almost seem to shut down in interviews. Not saying it could happen again, but who really knows, he may not know how or what to say exactly in that type of interview.

If we had red flag laws, Miller's guns should be removed from them and they shouldn't be allowed to acquire any more.

May 29th, 2022; Chase and Sara knocked on the door of the residence where Tokata was reportedly staying. A young person named Rosie answered and, when asked if Tokata was present, Rosie paused and looked to Ezra for an appropriate response. Sara then began calling out for Tokata and Ezra responded, saying “Sara, we are not going to do this here.” Tokata appeared and was happy to see their mother, giving her a hug, but immediately became confrontational with their father over being served with the evaluation orders. After approximately 15 minutes of discussion (during which Tokata consumed cannabis, tried to hide empty alcohol containers, and ranted about the KKK, police, pedophiles and other conspiracies); Tokata, Ezra and Rosie fled from the residence. Chase Iron Eyes called the Santa Monica police for assistance in administering the temporary guardianship and mental health/substance abuse evaluations.

Before the police arrived, Ezra whispered something to Tokata and Rosie, and they started walking quickly down the road. Sara kept up with them. At one point, Tokata was limping due to the shoes they were wearing, stating that they had blisters on their feet. Sara gave Tokata her boots and they put them on, hugging their mother – shoeless, Sara kept walking with Tokata. Ezra whispered to Tokata again and they began running away from Sara. Tokata pulled out a knife, threatening their mother. Sara followed close behind, keeping up the pace while she continued to encourage Tokata to leave the situation with Ezra. Ezra made physical contact with Sara as Tokata and Rosie were getting into an Uber. Sara reached inside for Tokata, attempting to talk to them, when Ezra slammed the car door on Sara’s arms several times; injuring Sara. Ezra advised Tokata and Rosie that Ezra would “meet them there” and proceeded to walk rapidly down the street as the Uber left. Sara reported the assault by Ezra to Santa Monica police on May 29th, 2022. She has several large bruises on both her arms after being attacked by Ezra Miller.

Chief said, “I have to say some words to Ezra. There’s so much **** Ezra said that hurt my feelings. Ezra called my kids little bastards and my wife a ****ty ****e. After the hospitality we gave to Ezra in our home. Ezra was paranoid, they think the FBI is watching them because Ezra was transporting drugs. Because Ezra was smoking ketamine, Ezra thinks the feds are onto them. Ezra thinks the law is out to get them even though Ezra’s the one who’s messing up.”

The current whereabouts of Ezra Miller and Tokata Iron Eyes are still unknown. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court has been unable to serve an order of protection, which makes it illegal for Ezra Miller to be near Tokata Iron Eyes. Miller’s representation has not yet responded to multiple media requests for comment.

Transporting guns, doing drugs and being paranoid about the FBI and the KKK is not a great combination. And that's before the grooming/cult accusations.

I absolutely love and adore the characters of the DC universe but I feel a personal revulsion that we should be expected to consume this entertainment when it’s so obviously enriching the life of a serial abuser in need of a major legal intervention.

This movie like all major film productions is the product of hundreds of people's effort. Hide it for the sake of one person, even if that person is the protagonist, isn't fair to everyone that worked hard for that. Of course, that's not something that studios care about. All they want is to maintain a good public image.

That being said this is a film that has cost hundreds of millions and it would probably cost just as much to reshoot everything without its main star. This film is coming out. Maybe they'll change the end, maybe they'll keep on delaying it, maybe they'll use everyone else but the titular character to promote it or maybe they'll even bury it in marketing. But there's absolutely zero chance of this not coming out at some point and in some shape or form.

If I were in charge, I'd try to save the film and recast them and reshoot the scenes where they can't possibly replace them via new actor/cgi. Snyder was able to do it on Army of The Dead, even if it was on a smaller scale, but it worked. The other actors, crew, director, etc, put in too much work to have this go away completely. Get Dylan O'Brien in here fast.

Flash is the titular character and he's probably in almost every single scene. Miller even plays another multiverse version of him that seems to be a major part of the film. It's not a realistic approach.

Yeah I see that route being more cost effective but not as fun storytelling wise.

I mean, it's the multiverse. It's the perfect opportunity to replace Miller at the end of the movie and make it work within the narrative of the film instead of doing a traditional recast without acknowledging the change.
