Between the TV show, his part in JL and his solo film, I'm convinced we're looking at the next A-lister.

I want to see them using this line.![]()
I also want to see him use this line, but from what we have heard, I don't think it would fit with his style of comedy as that style is different, purposefully cheesy on the writers and very Barry style humor, Ezra/Barry of the JL's style is more resembling of quick wit and more Wally/Bart Style humor.
Two words: Geoff. Johns.Yeah it definitely seems from everything we've heard of this version, what with him being the comic relief and the young guy who sees the other members as a mentor, Ezra Miller's version of The Flash sounds a lot more like Wally West than Barry
I wonder why they went with Barry when they could have easily gone with him as Wally West. They could have avoided similarities with the TV show, plus it wasn't that long ago when everyone assumed if they ever made a Flash movie it would absolutely be Wally West under the mask he was so popular

KidFlash, thanks so much for posting this. I don't get if they are giving him Wally West's personality, why not just make him Wally? I mean if you want Wally just use Wally. He's another established Flash. Why force a square into a peg hole with Barry Allen who Ezra is clearly not playing.
Because it sounds like they're taking a more comedic approach with him.
Since when is being funny a Wally West only trait? Wouldn't all the Flashs be the funny one.
Why do people keep saying this is Wally West's personality?
Yes?Barry Allen is a forensic scientist. Is Ezra Miller's Barry going to be a forensic scientist?
Clearly you missed something here because this isn't a goofy trickster character. Hell, him telling Batman he needs friends makes seem like some awkward nerd.Barry Allen is a forensic scientist. Is Ezra Miller's Barry going to be a forensic scientist?
Just saying the energy for Barry Allen isn't a goofy trickster type similar to Ryan Reynolds' personality, just like Ryan Reynolds' personality was out of place and didn't fit the mold for Hal Jordan.
I think the Dark Knight like suit is going to look fine, it is pretty sleek just a more armour like. That way it doesn't look to ridiculous as if he is wearing spandex onesie
I think the unique aerodynamic cyclist look completely fills the void left by no wingbolts.
Works for Superman.
Superman (as well as Batman) does have a cape to break it, though. Without cape, it does look kinda silly to me.
What about Spider-Man?
I find it interesting how people always laugh at the idea of spandex for Superman, Power Rangers, etc, but no one blinks an eye for Spidey.
(That being said, I'm all for a non-spandex Flash suit.)
or the usually very pronounced texture and pattern the suit has

Actually that's probably it. The amount of lines going on with the webbing design.
The Power Rangers thing is what usually bugs me though. I'm not a Power Rangers fan, but is it really that visually different to the multi-colored Lanterns standing side by side? An Alex Ross spandex-clad Green Lantern is a classy work of art, but a Green Power Ranger in his spandex is a punchline?
No whenever I see an alex ross hero in realistic spandex I think it looks awful, because spandex does look awful because it doesn't cling to the body like it is portrayed in the comics and the only way to make the spandex-esque look work is to adapt it like they've done with Superman, Batman and all of the other heroes who have been successfully adapted.
