I'm predicting 900 M.

I don't think this one can cut it to a bil, but you never know. I do think this will be the highest grossing Spider-Man though, of course not adjusted.

It's release dates world wide, the massive hype it has coming off of ASM1 and has accrued since, as well as the quality of the film puts in a place where 1 Billion+ is VERY possible.

A sensible prediction will be anything within the 700-800 range, but I hope it breaks 900m.

TASM1 managed to make $752 million while competing with TA and TDKR, not to mention all of the negativity being thrown at it, so I imagine that the sequel will easily pull at least $850 million or so.

The OP doesn't link to any source saying anything about TASM2's tracking and he's on a clear hate brigade against the franchise.

I don't buy it. It also means squat when like I said, we're over two weeks from the international release date and early tickets are not available domestically.

Some guy just posted that it will make $80 million opening weekend. I don't know where he got that number from.

Also, is he referring to the international (UK) or domestic opening weekend?

So is that $80 million only domestic or is that domestic + foreign opening?

Also, is he reliable? Has he been successful at predicting box office earnings in the past?
