I'm just going to chime in and say - normally I would not be pissed that someone is making up crap on Reddit. In most cases, I'd find it hilarious.

it makes sense when you consider the previous movie cost 230 (still do not understand how it cost more than man of steel and the avengers lol)

but yeah, 280 is huge.

The Rhino suit doesn't even have a head,just a giant horn.Without the head,it makes him look more like a piece of machinery,not a spidey villain.I wonder if the horn is made of some type of glass where you see the russian controlling it.

The Rhino design is just so horrible and New Goblin 2 is such a disappointment.Why can't we get a latex mask wearing Green Goblin or Hobgoblin.On the movie Machete 2 they had a guy called the Chameleon who had latex masks,and it would work in this franchise too.

I can understand that some hardcore spidey fans might be a bit disappointed over the designs. On the other hand, I think we gotta follow the times. And a latex rubber mask I really don't think would work. I don't quite know. All I know is that I'm happy we're not seeing a cheesy power rangers like villain, in the same form as Dafoe's Green Goblin.

From what we've seen in the ****** Russian trailer (****** refers to video quality ), 280 M seems right, the scale looks insane, and they're going all in.

Spiderman 3 had cost 258 million, estimated.

So, if 280 mill for Amazing-2 is correct, this is clearly the biggest and most expensive "swing" with Spidey as of yet

God, I'm so excited for this flick. I just keep going over the films process in my mind, how the hell they will make this work and not have it turn in to a ****ing Spiderman 3 ones more! And I sure as hell can't handle another MAJOR disappointment like Man of Steel! This films core must all be about fleshed out characters, chemistry, balance and above all STORY! If they have that down, then I say bring out those big guns that the trailer promises action wise! But I worry a lot...

To be completely accurate, Dane actaully talks about working with Chris Cooper on his first movie ever, which had a budget of a 100 million. Than he goes on to say, and I quote:

"So here we are, you know 4 years later, and 280 million dollars more"

So by that definition, what he's actually saying is that TASM2 has a budget of, wait for it... 380 MILLION DOLLARS!! Haha. But of course, that's not the case. But I still get what Dehaan is saying though

Amazing Spiderman had a budget of 230 million. So 50 million more for Amazing-2 is not wishful thinking at all. So I believe the 280 million figure with ease.
