I think what bothers them is the change in inertia from rapid motion in the air to the sudden stop in Peter's hand.

The principle that kills Gwen should have spilled HOT LATTE all over Peter.

But it's a Spider-Man movie. I can not only forgive it, I love it.

I love it too. LOL.

Damn, you think that's some kind of foreshadowing? Or a reference to the way Gwen died in the comics? How awesome would that be?

I thought manhole covers weighed like 100 lbs, so I didn't know how he was supposed to defeat Rhino with it. 450 lbs, though - that will indeed mess Rhino up.

I'm not sure how it exactly breaks the laws of physics. I mean it is a superhero movie, but i don't see how in that particular shot the laws of physics are violated.
