Doesn't resemble a Rhino either.

Nothing as long as it looks good and somewhat emulates the image of the character it's supposed to be.

A humanoid mech suit with an emoting face that looks like it's wearing a helmet with horns?

Aleksei is a suit with a horn that resembles a Rhino. When you look at him you know he's supposed to be a rhino. When you look at Webb's "Rhino" all you see some crazy robot with a spike on it.

Nobody could seriously say they look at that and see a rhino, much less the comic book Rhino in any way.

When you see it on the big screen in motion, you'll know why it resembles a Rhino even more. I don't think the audience would take Ultimate Rhino seriously. Liberties had to be taken here.

actually in the first poster he looked pretty much looked like a giant Robotic Rhino rampaging(alliteration got to love it), The screen caps of a trailer you can pretty much tell it's look like a Rhino(horn, grey colored, russian red star to hint as his heritage, foot, etc). This poster I'll admit doesn't look that good(it looked fantastic in the trailers, but the poster ehhhhh...). The armor looks like it's crafted together from different parts which is kind of cool, it had a horn, russian heritage in the red star, etc.

Yes the posters has been unflattering the armor imo. But I actually enjoyed the little I seen in the Rhino himself in the screencaps and movement in the trailer and I feel like that's especially true when we see the little of the Rhino in the movie itself.

At this point, suspension of disbelief in the cinema is pretty much evaporated. We have aliens that can reform themselves into cars, Men than can burn up to 300 degrees celcius and take on a man in a suit of armor, giant green rage monsters, and a world where people can waltz on into someone else's dream.

You have a point but I still believe there is a law as to how the characters should be interpreted in a real world setting. Having a man in a rubber Rhino costume or mixed with a Rhino would look ridiculous. This film already has enough fun going on. It does not need to be bogged down by anymore. Paul Giamatti is already in the film for comic relief. You can tell that by the way Spider-Man beats him in the first act. If they suddenly bring him back in a rubber Rhino costume it would push the boundaries of disbelief to a new level. I think it would be very hard to swallow.

The mech suit on the other hand is the way to go. Russia deal with weaponry so surely it makes sense that he put something together with the resources available to him ? Plus it also prevents EVERY villain coming from Oscorp.
