Well the RT ranking (which is more critic based) is as follows

1) Spider-man 2 (94%)
2) Spider-man (89%)
3) The Amazing Spider-man (73%)
4) Spider-man 3 (63%)
5) The Amazing Spider-man 2 (54%)

While Flixter (which is more general audience) is as follows

1) Spider-man 2 (81%)
2) The Amazing Spider-man (78%)
3) The Amazing Spider-man 2 (75%)
4) Spider-man (67%)
5) Spider-Man 3 (51%)

I tend to agree with flixter's ratings more because RT for the fact its more general audience based and RT tends to be "initial reaction" based rather than "test of time" based

That's almost how I would have it except to put TASM 2 above TASM.

while seeing Rob Walker´s and Jeremy´s (see spoiler talk) arguments here i have to agree with them you DON´T shoehorn Spider-man´s biggest nemesis at the end of the movie!, Rob said it best GG before the big scene(you know whay i mean) fought spider-man before,he did horrible things before and knew spider-man, so when THAT happens it has MORE impact than it should here, that´s why i feel, yeah GG was wasted horribly here...

I don't at all think GG was wasted here- his fight with Peter is merely planting the seeds for a much bigger conflict. Watching Spider-Man and Green Goblin fight for the first time was almost like seeing Batman and the Joker fight for the first time, and the purpose of the fight was to establish a blood feud between Harry and Peter.

As more time passes, the RT scores become irrelevant based on peoples attitudes. Kinda like inflation lol.

Also it just goes to show how silly that stuff is. Never take stock in RT, meta-anything, IMDB, etc.

He is now indisputably Spider-Mans Arch Nemesis. The next time they meet... it will be an explosion.

Well there's also the concept of toying with him about going after aunt may next... Or other future love interests. Keeping peter unsettled and constantly in fear

So do they really start shooting TASM3 in October? It took 7 months after TASM for them to start shooting TASM2. October is only 5 months away after release of TASM2. I think from the time they finish shooting AND post-pro, it'll be a long way away from release. Seems a bit early.

Or is October just a guess from them?

I agree!!! Though I do honestly believe they could have done more with him. As well as Electro too: they were both good, DeHaan would even say GREAT, but they weren't really allowed enough time to develop. Max Dillon before was terrible and his transition into Electro I feel is a bit disjointed, but when he's Electro... BADASS.

And perhaps I would feel differently is the trailers and clips didn't show EVERY SINGLE fight sequence, but I just didn't get any real surprises or excitement with the fight sequences: there would have been MORE to be done I believe. And there might have well been more too, but I don't there will be an extended cut.
