Well Spider-man and Ant man are Superheroes based on bugs (not insects because insects=/= arachnids) and both have red in their suits...but spider-man can´t shrink so who else can shrink, Ant man or the atom but DC owns the atom, by this logic Antman exists in TASM universe and viceversa...Spider-man in Infinity War confirmed!

James Franco is the Man in Shadows, and he's pulling the S6 together so he can assassinate Kim Jong Un. However, after a bunch of crazy antics and unlikely events... they get stuck in London with Emma-Carnage (who's studying at Oxford). Trying to escape, they bump into Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy's Sandman rages, knocking down buildings at Godzilla sized while screaming "**** YOU MAGIC TRICKS!!" while Scorpia is gossiping with Carnage, Franco is facepalming, and Jonah Hill's Ock is with Tatum's Venom getting high.

Dane's just flying around on his glider.

Hmm, I guess it's not messed up "beyond repair," but the damage is already done. The continuity/canon of the TASM series has too much baggage

Oh, I'm aware of the baggage this film brought on to the series. I agree, Harry should not have been the Goblin first, in fact the Green Goblin shouldn't even have been introduced just yet. I don't even like how the Goblin's origin is linked to the spider venom that gave Peter his own powers. I don't really agree with Norman being dead, but I think the plan was always to bring him back in a future film. It also would help if the Green Goblin actually looked like the Green Goblin.

I don't think they should've been so quick to kill off Gwen, at the very least they should have waited till the third film. Peter and Gwen's relationship was practically the foundation of this series, and now its gone. Gwen's death should've been carried out by Norman not Harry. Don't get me wrong I liked how Gwen's death was carried out, I felt Peter's pain. I just can't get over how much better it could have been if it was done by Norman's hands.

I feel those issues alone is whats keeping Marvel from wanting to insert TASM series into the MCU. Because they were open to the idea when it was just the first film. I can't say I blame them, if I was Marvel I would want to execute those ideas into the MCU more closer to the source material.

Oscorp is the center of the universe and is just creating a ton of villains for Spider-Man to fight. Doc Ock, Vulture, Rhino, Venom, and so on are all just Oscorp creations.

See I take issue with this, but only because aside from Venom, they did the same thing on The Spectacular Spider-Man, and nobody really had a problem with it back then. I guess you could say TSSM did it better by having Tombstone pay Oscorp to create super villains to distract Spidey from his own criminal underworld. Damn, if only Sony did it that way in the films too.

I doubt it will make 1 billion if it had everything going for it, unless it was a miracle. TASM3 would be bound to make high 700 millions or mid 800 millions if it was really good.
