They weren't black, they were reflective.

Yeah they where yellow lol. I cant belive that people are hating on the CGI in asm2 has it looked a lot better then any other sm movie yet. I swear people just hate on this movie for no reason.

Webb should have stuck with ASM's tone/atmosphere,I love both suits but the two movies feel like they don't even belong each other.

It's good but nothing groundbreaking, certainly not better than Apes 2.

I agree that apes looked better but apes was revolutionary! Not ever movie can look revolutionary but asm2 still looked great in its own right.

I still felt ASM2 was too video-gamey in some spots, maybe because of the colours and cinematography.

I blame Sony for it.

"Everyone loved the dark moody atmosphere of The Dark Knight and that made a billion dollars. Let's do one like that."

"Everyone loved the bright fun atmosphere of The Avengers and that made a billion dollars. Let's do one like that."

Pretty much this but they failed to capture the right atmosphere, especially ASM2. I quite liked what they did in ASM tough.

When he first meets electro at the power plant it's extreemly video gamey

Other then that it's fabulous

Water dissolve effect?

In Spider-man 2 at the scene where Pete asks for an advance, Jameson laughs at him and points him to the door, the scene cuts to the docks where Doc Ock is. And the transition is like wavy n stuff. It looks really odd and goofy even for the Raimi tone

"Everyone loved the bright fun atmosphere of The Avengers and that made a billion dollars. Let's do one like that...But without developing the villains and let´s set it up in this movie"

fixed...kinda, but yeah we all know that´s the way the various excecutive board meetings of the movie...

I think Sony's going to go for one or the other, I think it would be better if they try to go for a mix of both.

Oh I am going to try to look out for that part next time I watch it.

Yeah, that was weird. But his odd stylistic choices in the first two films gave them character. Like that slow-mo roar Ock utters after May whacks him with her umbrella. Random, but brilliant.

I think it would be better if they have their own vision instead of trying to just copy what worked for another franchise. There's too much "decision by committee" approach going on.

Yeah.. Raimi did have quite a peculiar bag of tricks. it's such a shame that his movies are ruined by the leads. ...ok, Tobey is debatable, but the movies basically revolve around MJ, and nobody likes her so yeah

The only thing holding Raimi's Spider-Man back is...Spider-Man. I don't hate him (so don't report me, I'm not dissing anything dammit), but yeah, you catch my drift. I actually really liked Dunst...in the first two films at least.

A Spider-Man movie should be colorful! That's what I like about "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".

That's exactly their approach to the TASM franchise. Instead of just trying to make good movies they unsuccessfully try to duplicate the furniture of other successful comic book movies.

Tbf the script was written to completley make mj a ***** (which Dunst played well)

Not so much in the first two. Her frustration with Peter was justified when she didn't know his identity.
