I would rather they contiue on with ASM3 and no reboot from eather sony or marvel/sony.

I want good Spider-man films not spider-man in avengers.

ASm2 was disappointment mixed film.ASM1 was good.

Guys when will you learn. TASM3 AND THIS SPIDEYVERSE IS DEAD!!!!

There's been no news on TASM3 with casting or story ideas but we had the film's star say the producers got too involved. Sinister Six was announced when? March 2014? There's been no news at all with that and when was Suicide Squad announced? October? November? We've had the director talk about it and casting for the Squad but nothing for Sinister Six.

Look at Fox after DOFP. Announce Apocalypse, Gambit, Deadpool & cast.

Look at WB. Month after MOS, announce Batman/Superman. We have a line up for the DCCU. Even if you're mixed on MOS, it was more of a success than TASM2.

sony has been screwing things up since they decided to micromanage Spider-Man 3 and shoehorn Venom in there.

then TASM came out, was pretty solid, and ended up going back to their old ways with TASM2.

Perhaps Sony being more involved with the two worst movies in the franchise means something?

if they decide to continue on their own, find a director with a vision and let him/her do their job.

The truth is even as fan of ASM1 and one who enjoys parts of ASM2 mostly when villains weren't on screen i will say we will likely get some kind of reboot even if it stays completly at Sony.

Amy Pascal as producer of spider-man films is big hint sony will move forward on spider-man films.

Not even that, all they really have to do is make one great film.

Just look at the difference in response in between X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men: First Class. The fans were won over by a single film.

I bet they were saving everything for TASM 3. The last 3 movies were just jokes.

Sony is the scumbag kid on the playground that asks for a rematch because they "weren't trying" when they lost.

TASM was solid, shouldve let webb continue to do his thing. Orci and Kurtzman being involved was also bad news from the start.

Isn't that how it was with X-Men, though?

After TLS and Origins, everyone was pleading and begging for the rights to go back to Marvel only to be introduced to First Class which made a lot of people stop and scratch their head.

So, they simmered down on that.

It wasn't long until The Wolverine happened where fans started up again, pleading and begging until they were silenced by DOFP which fixed everything and now not a single person (Well, maybe not extreme) wants them to go back to Marvel yet as they wait in anticipation for Apocalypse, Gambit, and of course Deadpool.

Maybe that could happen with TASM? Eh, seems unlikely at this point.
