Honestly, a lineup like that could work!

Movie #1- Kraven, Chameleon
Movie #2- Vulture, Mysterio
Movie #3- Doc Ock, Sandman
Movie #4- The Sinister Six

Then once they've gone big with sinister six, it's time to get personal with Kraven's Last Hunt!

Also, Personally, I think chameleon isn't all that necessary when you have mysterio. I'd replace him with Electro, I always think of him as a sinister six sequel.

But think of all the evil things the S6 could do if Chameleon was among their ranks. Plus, we just got Electro as the main villain and he was pretty cheesy. Chameleon would work great in the MCU and he could cause lots of suspense. Pete goes over to say hi to Harry... but
Harry is really Chameleon! Dun Dun Dunnnnnn

Gasp!!!

I can't discredit chameleon, I've always though he'd look visually cool in live action. He'd have a creepy pitch white face that morphs into anything. And he's by no means a bad villain, he's really cool.

I do want electro in the six though.

Something like the Spectacular Spider-Man Electro would be cool.

I still want to see a definitive Green Goblin. "Spider-Man" did a good job, IMO, but I'd like to see him revisited where he doesn't die in the end.

(And a classic costume would be nice)

I would like to see basically everyone most of you have been mentioning...especially Kraven or Mysterio.

Hey all,

I just got back from vacation. Can someone fill me in on the latest Spidey news?

Have any ideas for a plot with those?

Yeah I like that. I love electro he is my 5th favorite sm villain and he is to powerful to not be in the movie. No matter what you thought of asm2 you have to admit just how powerfully he was. With how powerfully he is if you could give him a good motivation he could be very imtemidating villain.

However, If they go with a new lineup it should be this:
Doc Ock
Vulture
Mysterio
Sandman
Kraven
Chameleon
Rhino

For an sinister six I would go with that but replace chameleon with electro. The crazy thing to think about it the most we have seen sm fight at 1 point in a sm movie is just 2. Yes sm 3 had 3 villains but at the end harry is not a villain any more so he is fighting just 2 and with help. In asm2 he doesn't fight rino, goblin or elector at the same time. So with an sinister six would he fight all of them at once or at different points in the film. I think you would want him to fight all 6 at once so its crazy to think what that would look like when it comes to fight chorography and such. Also these movies are not cheep so with 6 villains in a movie would the movie have a like 500 million budget? lol.

If they ever use venom, he should basically be a weapon/henchmen for a bigger, better villain. Goblin can manipulate Eddie Brock and they don't need to give him a huge subplot. It would work better than him headlining a spidey film, I think.

Lol hell no ! Venom works for no one and is a powerhouse and stronger than green goblin he would never work for him . Venom needs his own movie not shared

Nah son. Doc Ock and Green Goblin are mad because Spider-Man consistently ruins their plans, and even puts them in prison. That is solid reasoning to hate his guts.

The idiot known as Eddie Brock on the other hand hates Spider-Man because Eddie published a news story about Sin Eater's identity that turned out to be false when Spidey caught the real Sin Eater. He got fired and his life went to crap, and he blames Spidey for that. All Spidey did was catch a serial killer. He didn't even know Eddie from Adam. They never met. Spidey was not an obstacle to Eddie writing a good honest news story. But Brock, being the weak minded moron he is, blames the hero who captured the serial killer.

Comic book Venom has one of the stupidest motives in comic book history. He's also one of the most overrated characters ever. Why is he considered a top Spidey villain, who some rank beside Goblin and Ock? Because he has similar powers to Spidey? Whoop dee doo. He knows Spidey's identity? Big deal. What's he ever done with that? Stalk him? Scare MJ once? Pathetic and boring.

What did Goblin do when he learned Spidey's identity? Killed Gwen. What did Ock do when he found out Spidey's identity? Killed Peter himself and stole his body. That's not even counting all the other major stuff these guys did like Captain Stacy's death, hospitalizing Aunt May, making Peter and MJ lose their baby etc. Venom has never done anything that hard hitting. Not even close.

Venom is a classic example of style over substance. A character who rose to popularity because of cool look and powers. Scratch that surface and there's not much underneath. That's why Marvel writers are always palming the Venom symbiote off on anyone, from the freakin' Scorpion to Flash Thompson.

And as for Venom making Spidey fear for his loved ones, and run for his life, both Ock and Gobby did that to Spidey long before Venom's overrated ass ever showed up. Spider-Man used to s*** himself every time he was around Norman for fear Norman would strike at his loved ones. And it eventually happened when Gwen copped it. He had Doc Ock living under the same roof as Aunt May once, which ended with May having a stroke and being hospitalized.

Ock put the fear of god so badly into Spidey once that Spider-Man went and said goodbye to all his friends and loved ones because he was sure Ock was going to kill him in an upcoming battle of vengeance Ock swore on him (this was right after Ock beat Black Cat to near death which put her on life support in intensive care). One of my all time favorite stories called The Long Goodbye:

See that's the difference between Gobby and Ock with Venom. They earned their fearsome A-list status as his deadliest greatest enemies. Venom never did. Venom is a trash character who is not fit to lick Ock and Goblin's shoes. In fact I'd rate just about every major Spidey villain that Stan Lee created over that long tongued, brain eating, pathetic excuse for a villain.

Damn hating at its finest. But ok that's fine but still venom is an amazing villian. People want him in the movies, kids love him and he's pretty much second to goblin as spiders main villian. Sure I love doc ock but I love venom cuz he wants to make spideys life a living hell and not cuz he kept throwing him in jail. Btw I don't like Eddie Brock's motives in the comic but the cartoons and other things have him clear motives. Rivals at the daily bugle Peter get out shining him and stealing his spot light proved he was a liar and ruined his life. That's not motivation? Venom fo life! Mcu will def put him in if the deal is made

Shattered Dimensions was their attempt at that, and it didn't even come close, IMO. The best Spider-Man game is still the PS1 ones, and Spider-Man 2.

Shattered dimensions was really good but yeah no sm 2 or close to the batman arkham games but I do think dimensions was a really good like 8.5/10 game. Unlimited was right there with sm 2 has the best sm games. Unlimited was great.

Sinister six can go a lot of different routes. I'd like to see It focus on Harry getting oscorp back through underground criminal activities. I could even see harry messing with peter's mind using hallucinations of gwen through mysterio. That would be rough for an audience! haha Imagine peter having to fight an illusion of a perfect life with gwen and then choosing to snap out of it! It would be a total mind**** haha

Also a good inspiration for eddie brock would be Jake Gylenhalls portrayal in "Nightcrawler" as a man so hungry for success that he'd do anything to get it (lie, cheat, blackmail, kill). But Eddie's also got an ironic underdog quality to him, (which spider-man fights for) and then he's got Cancer! Then his wife leaves him and he loses his job! If anything the audience will be torn to love and hate this character. He's not as one dimensional as some would say, it's all about execution of plot, script, acting.

I disagree on the middle ground bit. As long as the core of the character is kept intact I think it doesn't matter if he's played as a little cooler or more on the nerdy side. Each interpretation works & Tobey and Andrew have done great respectively.

It gets muddy when all the actors try doing the same thing. And it gets boring.

No no I don't mean that all actors should try to do the same thing and I think both tobey and Garfield peters where good but Garfield's sm is night and day better then Tobey's I just mean that I think Garfield came off a little to cool and not quit nerdy enough and I fell like tobey was a little to nerdy and not quit confident enough.

Both were purposely written to be & come off that way.

Tell that to a lot of people on hear lol. A lot of people talk about Garfield's peter being a jerk and for stupid things like riding a skateboard lol. So its Garfield's fault that he rides a skateboard?

I think most people like to use the "o he's popular so he sucks excuse" Venom has some great motives for hating spiderman. life took a dump on the guy and and snapped and took his anger out on peter and spiderman targeting everyone he loves and messing with his mind. I'd pay to see spiderman up against the ropes with a villian that is pretty much almost unstoppable. Then making eddie brock sort of scammer guy who peter always gets the best of. Rivals at the bugle from the get go and peter beats him no matter how hard he tries.
