Yeah.. He could've webbed the entire seat with the kid strapped to it and yanked it free of the car. If Spidey and his web are strong enough to hold the entire car it would've been strong enough to pull the child and seat away.

sounds kinda dangerous lol, esp as the back door/window didnt look big enough to pull the the chair through without possibly breaking his neck lol

Just pulling the kid through the window, as the car fell, looked like a close call. And you seriously say he should just have yanked out the entire seat through the rear window? Seriously?

I'm sorry but wasn't the point of OMD to get rid of people knowing who Spider-Man is and all these unmasking going on? So why are they doing it so much in this movie?

Because OMD is set in the comics and TAS is not the same universe.

Hahaha!!

Seriously, some of those complaints are just ridiculous!

The kid would've been afraid of falling. He'd have been at least a little relieved if someone statrting making maneuvers to free him.]

At that point of time your mind doesnt work properly, even an adult would be sacred ****less, let alone a child
A monster hurls you into the air and then an masked man looking like an alien rips the back of your car off,and mind you spidey wouldnt be famous enough to people at that time so they wouldnt know he a working to help the people

[Yeah.. He could've webbed the entire seat with the kid strapped to it and yanked it free of the car. If Spidey and his web are strong enough to hold the entire car it would've been strong enough to pull the child and seat away.]
He could have done that but it took time to land on the car and rip the back part off and also to calm the child, the child was sitting on the seat, had be pulled the seat the child would have gone flying into the water

[Really? I doubt that since the kid's body did handle the whiplash. He even handled the whiplash of the car itself slamming to a halt on Spidey's webline, which would've been worse.]
Thats not whiplash, thats change in inertia, like the feeling you get when you car stop suddenly when travelling at a speed of 10km/hr or so
Whiplash is when some part of your body stops suddenly and other parts are in motion creating difference in velocities which is extremely harmful
There is no whiplash when he webs the kid because he does that when the car just started falling, meaning then velocity is almost zero

[So the kid in the seat, when the seat would be absorbing the shock of the fall would be even safer. Not to mention the fact that since the car did ignite there was every chance it would've exploded killing the child, so time was of the essence.

It takes time for the Car to explode after catching fire,GTA Logic LOL

Understood I'm just saying though. That's one of the main reasons why they kept Mary Jane out of some many things now with Spider-Man in both movie and TV and comics and tried to distance her from Peter as a love interest so I just think they should have stuck to the rule here as well.

It can be done a lot better.

People are whining about that cotton ripping thing.
The leather rips just fine and realisticly, take a large think sheet of cotton and try to rip it with your finger nails like the Lizard does, even though you can rip off just enough, you wont find visible lacerations on the sheet unless you look closely, its cotton FFS not wood

Hey, if this is more on the 'Ultimate' side of things, anyone think they could go the 'Death of Spiderman' route?

Just wondering?

They're not going to pull that with this. They want this franchise to be kid-friendly to an extent. You can kill off everybody but the main protagonist.

It had very little if anything to do with his identity and everything to do with his marriage to MJ. Guys at marvel had been trying to get rid of his marriage since the 90s, which is why they did the clone saga. Quesada always said that he wants spider man to be single because him married ages th character, nothing about his identity. Even now in the comics, MJ knows who he is, along with the FF and a few avengers. Oh and his ex girlfriend

Just saw the last part
'Do you wanna play football?? Too dangerous'

ROFL Vintage Spidey

BTW The one saying 'Do you have any Idea what you Really are?" is Definitely Irrfan Khan,I know his Voice

Why are some saying that the CG is bad?! I don't get it, I'm always very touchy on this and I think it looks great here, aside from the Lizard ripping off the cushion.

I think the bridge scene follows the dinner scene. Peter was wearing the same clothes, wasn't he? Minus his bag.

Doorman scene, dinner scene, kissing Gwen/"Oh I'm in trouble", bridge scene.

Or maybe he just wears his jacket in a lot of scenes :p

They haven't kept Mary Jane out of anything except this movie....

She was in Spectacular Spider-man, she's in Ultimate Spider-Man, she's a big presence in the ASM comics despite not having a relationship with Peter. This film is really the first thing to have no trace of MJ whatsoever.

I think the movie looks fantastic, but the CG is noticeably weak. Sony Image Works always produces cartoonish or artistic visuals, and when they try to go realistic it usually looks bad.

Read what I have said since OMD they have done everything to try and keep her and Peter apart as a LOVE INTEREST. I never said they cut her out. Also the unmasking played a part of OMD as well.

Well I don't think it looked weak in the trailers either. But Sony Imageworks did a great job on the Spidey movies, I mean it looked great, webslinging, etc, it aged a tad on the first two. Green Lantern wasn't as bad as everyone says it is CGI wise, and I remember the Wondercon footage, completely unfinished, so I guess this is something that they do.

We've seen comments from everyone who's seen the trailer in 3D or actual footage in 3D, that it looks incredible, webslinging etc.

This reminds me of John Carter, everyone was bashing the CG based on the videos on YT, etc, and it looks freaking terrific on the big screen. This is how it must be experienced, and in 3D.

But I think that it looks bad to some people because it's shot in digital with the Epic and it brings a highly glossy and clean look that might make things look bad to them.

No it just looks bad in some shots. But not terrible. It's serviceable. Has nothing to do with 3D blahblahblah.
