I find it funny that I never had a Spider-man movie catered to my mind-set but there are so many people complaining that this movie doesn't cater them after they got 2 or 3 movies that did.

Cry me a river.

Who should Spider-Man be catered to? When the comics were written, who were their target audience?

Spider-Man must cater to everyone. Then and now.

This movie carters to me a bit. Everything but the spider powers, missing parents, and a girlfriend.

Only thing about the suite that still kind of irks me is the shoes, I mean I understand why he has them just don't like them aesthetically, but I'm sure we will hardly notice them in the film.

“I Can’t See You Anymore”
soooo that means;
Peter can´t see Gwen because the superhero thing or Gwen can´t see Peter because she thinks he killed his father either one :csad:

Yeah because Dunst is clearly a wart covered troll:whatever:

Peter is meant to be witty and charming, he just gets bullied alot for the kind of things he's into, so it doesn't come out in the volumes that it does when he's suited and booted ;) . And a lot of the flack came frm Flash which we all know why once we take into account the arc of Flash's alcoholic father. If you think Petey isn't meant to be witty then you're not thinking about the right Petey

Seems more like you're the one that can't be told that you can relate to spidey

It doesn't transcend well to the screen???? It shows his intellectual and innovative side both of which are essential to Peter as a character.

Costume looks great in motion and looks more realistic to what a teenager would design and be able to design

If you're basing all this on having just watched the films, then you should definitely go back to the source and read the comics because you're limiting yourself to just one interpretation of the character and doing yourself a diservice as a Spidey fan with a somewhat flawed understanding of the main character

Really, the suit looks like something a teenager could make?!?! This suit looks about as possible to make as the suit in the Raimi trilogy was. The suit a teenager could actually make was the wrestling suit in the first movie.

All kinds of people enjoy Spider-man.

It started out for little kids just like Batman but the audience has broadened much more since then.

He said design not create. Learn how to read.

It's still wrong. I'm a teenager and I know for a fact that I wouldn't create that suit, even if I had the materials. The design is random, spastic, and in some areas, makes no sense. It's not something a teenager would create OR design. It's something a costume designer for a greedy movie company that wants to distinguish themselves from a highly profitable trilogy that they threw under the bus for more money and now need to create something new. THAT'S who created this suit.

Titles for every song in James Horner's score, that means major spoilers for the entire outline of the film.

I skipped out on everything in between the first and the last two, but
it seems Gwen breaks up with Peter near the end of the movie. We saw set pics of this scene being filmed.

This actually pleases me.
I wanted something to happen between Gwen and Peter if Captain Stacy dies since Gwen knows Peter is Spidey. Perhaps Gwen thinks that Peter could have saved her dad.

I don't understand this idea that they threw the last crew under the bus so they could get more money. More people would throw their money at Sony for Spider-man 4, not the reboot, whether Spider-man 4 was better or worse than Spider-man 3.

Sony wanted something darker and more serious to battle Nolan's Batman and Raimi wouldn't give them that, so they did away with him.

I think that's the point. It looks like something a teenager just threw together and said "Oh hey wow this actually turned out pretty cool." I dunno, that's what I'm getting from the suit.

not anywhere close to the truth
