I agree.

If there's any Spidey story that should be on film, it's obviously Sin's Past.

I agree. I love that storyline. However, if it was on film, they'd have to wait until both Gwen and Norman are ..... ya know.. and then have it written that she went overseas for like a year while with Peter.

the reason I was excited for the twin towers trailer is there was never a spidey movie ever on the screen. I was excited for all the other trailers but not as much because I knew the style and look of the raimi movies, with this movie I have no idea what web's vision is like, what the villian is like, how spidey moves or quips. very exciting.

Exactly. I remember when I first saw the twin towers trailer. I was so excited. I have a similar feeling now. It's like you said, we don't know what webb has up his sleeve so, its almost like a spidey thats never been on film.

exciting time to be a spidey fan, not 'THE' best ever time to be a spidey fan though, for me that is when SM2 was released and every single magazine review was giving SM2 full marks. if I knew how the bat fans would turn into with the advent of the nolan movies I would have LIVED on the bat forums and rubbed their noses in it.

Officially most looking forward to movie now due to the importance of Peter's parents. Being an orphan? Yeah the hardest guy to fight would be the one with the answers.

How's that trailer confirmation?

So guud.

one thing I'm curious about is........

how smart will Peter be portrayed in Amazing?

is he still going to be smart, a science/tech geek?

will he still be an amateur photographer?

I remember that trailer too. It was a double edged sword cause on one hand I was extremely excited for the movie and the other it reminded me of Sept 11th and the horror of that day.

That's why it ran for a very short while. You were lucky if you saw in theaters at all, which I did.

He'll be all of that. He just won't have been emplyed by the Daily Bugle yet but he will be a photographer.

One of the pics from the movies shows him at school with a camera around his neck.

Yup. It was pulled after a shortwhile. I saw it online.

It was a really good trailer. I heard that the bank robbery sequence from that trailer was going to be in the movie a the audiences introduction to Spidey but it got pulled do to 9/11 happening and which is my we got a montage scene instead.

Do you know if thats true?

Well, there's at least 2 shots where he's taking pictures.

(I'm guessing this mini-camera is when he goes into Oscorp to find out some information on his parents/Connors work/etc)

Not sure where this could be from, maybe it's on a school trip? Maybe he's taking pictures because he's making a little album of his school/classmates or something... or y'know, taking pictures of Gwen. :hehe:

I'm guessing he'll already have an interest in photography. It'd be cool if he spots an ad online or something for the Daily Bugle.

He'll definitely be smart, he just won't be the quiet nerd who doesn't say anything when he gets picked on.

btw.....I've seen this Spidey wear webshooters, so I guess it's safe to say the webshooters will be mechanical.

however, have they given any hints if the actual webbing itself will be organic or something artificial Peter creates?

also, how do you think they will portray the wall sticking power?

will they go with the "barbed" hair deal they did in the Raimi films ( never was a fan of that )?

or the psionic/atomic bonding explanation they use in the comics ( what I prefer )?

Fully mechanical. In the Comic-Con footage, you see Peter testing a webshooter with it set up on a workbench, not wearing it, and web shoots out. Also in the footage we get a close up on the web shooter and see a digital readout on it, most likely showing how much web fluid is left.

I have no idea either way on the wall-crawling. I just hope we see more of it.

Oh Goddddd, this sounds so cool. :awesome:

My bet is on them going the Ultimate route, with the chemical web fluid being an unfinished project of Peter's father that Peter finishes and creates the delivery system for.
