he looks young enough NOW but will he look young enough by movie 3?
pete needs to movie to college next movie, no question about it,
If he keeps himself in shape, I don't think we have anything to worry about.

I can see Garfield holding up over three films, and it will likely be an arc and that's where he stops. But if they really wanted to keep him, they could simply recognise his age and explore an older, seasoned Spider-Man. Not sure if they would, but there's always the option.

Yeah, and assuming each sequel takes about 2-3 years to make, Garfield should be around 32-34 years old by the third movie, which I think is still kind of young. He would still be in his early to mid 30s.

I would love for them to continue into a third trilogy and have it end with Spider-man's death like in Spider-man #500

I always thought his "Final" costume would look great on film.

No. It looks like Batman's going to die in TDKR...

Now, Spidey too?

:csad:

Spideyfan: Yeah, that would be great! I also wouldn't mind if they keep on making more sequels. Maybe up to 6? Haha As long the story is new and refreshing.

Basically the trilogy should be with this one in high school, the second in college, and the third with him graduating and becoming the high school teacher, yet still out fighting crime while married to MJ.

Peter and MJ's wedding would be a great ending to this iteration of the franchise. A good way to go out and close out the story.

Have they said what year of high school Peter is in? I'm assuming it would be his junior or senior year?

Bats won't die in TDKR, lol.

That's just fans thinking Batman dying would be the only reason how the film ends in an "epic" fashion.

Wouldn't that move really fast with Gwen and her dying then using MJ too quickly as a friend to girlfriend?

Agreed.

Agreed though I hope they do a second trilogy or just 2 more films focusing on spidey in his later years heading towards his end as Spider-man by death or retirement.

Just got home and heard the news, hope it's legit.

20 DAYS! Until disappointment or GLORY!

Was there any descriptions of the footage shown at the Japanese Press Event? Or did they just release the same footage?

as long as the style tone of the trailer is good that is all I care about.

I've seen a great trailer and been disappointed with the end product - SM3

I've seen a 'meh' trailer and been blown away with the end product - TDK

so even if the trailer disappoints it's not the end of the world

So true. Trailers are not to be trusted. I still want an awesome trailer though, lol.

this only rally concerns UK posters.

the BFI IMAX (largest in britain) is NOT showing ASM. :csad:

I'm not worried about Garfeilds age. Eddie Redmayne is 30 and could still plays teenagers
