^ I agree that Goblin should be used again at some point, he's too good not to be. But on the other hand I'd like to see the types such as Mysterio, Shocker, Vulture, Electro, Scorpion, etc in the films. It would really show the audience that Spider-Man is definitely not a one or two trick pony and has real depth and variety in its villains.

I agree. He has arguably the greatest rogues gallery. I would deifinitely love to see someone new in the sequel (as we are with the Lizard).

It looks like they are following the Ultimate route given the role Oscorp will play in this film. And with Oscorp and Gwen in the mix. Green Goblin in the upcoming films looks definite.

I remember seeing something like that in the animated show too but I don't know if it's also something from the comics. Do you know how he changed them into lizards?

In the show? Urmm, something called a Neogenic Recombinator.

Not sure about what he did/used in the comics.

I don't see it happening. Spider-Man is having his origin retold, so why would we see him in the Avengers? I hope there aren't any ties to Avengers with Spidey. I want Webb to let this series be its own thing.

I cant wait to see what Kevin Feige actually says about this rumor in the upcoming EMPIRE issue.

The cameo will be as quick as Spidey's cameo in the X-Men cartoon, lol.

Although that was more like a "passing the torch" type of scene. Which makes it a brilliant cameo. Spidey in the Avengers? Not so much. Spider-Man needs to be in his own universe.

LOL. Yeah I totally agree. The Arnold cameo was very cool because it was like a passing of the torch from one action star to another. I was only mentioning it because it was so short in length that if Spidey was to have a cameo in the Avengers it should be as short or shorter or my favorite, not at all. Spidey should not be in the Avengers and should stay in his own world.

It could always take place after ASM. The Tony Stark cameo in 'The Incredible Hulk' takes place after Iron Man 2, which came out 2 years after that movie was out.

I don't get this whole "Spider-Man should be in his own universe" thing. I love it when Spidey interacts with other heroes. Also, its sort of illogical. Whenever Spidey's in a universe by himself, I always think "Why aren't there other heroes like Spider-Man out there, if all these villains keep getting made".

To each his own. I prefer Spidey running solo.

I won't be shocked if Spider-Man is tied in with Avengers and I won't be shocked if he isn't.

I wouldn't mind Spider-Man being with the Avengers if it was just a short they put on the blu-ray.
