Well he's on top of a crushed taxi in the new pic, so...yeah.
There's no pit webbing.
Just look at this image.
It's just wishful thinking. lol

Nor does he have it on the toys.

Why does it have to make sense? It's just there for looks.
Agree to disagree then, I always liked the way it looks.

I disagree. I just look at it and think, "Why would Peter Parker put that on his costume?"
I think the armpit webs would look better on the Raimi suit than this suit, tbh.
Why do some heroes wear capes? Why wear a fancy costume at all?
It's just a preference. I'd rather not see them either. They seem a little silly.
I mean, he's got the webbing on the suit.
...So why web pits? lol
High fiveAnd thank god. The armpit webbing never made much sense to me.

They were made of practical use in Batman Begins, that makes that movie awesomeBy "make sense", I don't mean in the practical sense. For example, Batman wearing a cape and ears on his cowl doesn't make practical sense, but aesthetically it does as it evokes bat imagery.
At least in TSSM animated it's small, in the JRjr sketch it's extra annoyingly largeAgree to disagree then, I always liked the way it looks.

And when he puts on his shirtNot to mention it'd look awkward in scenes where he's just... standing there with his arms down. With these little white/silver flaps of whatever poking out of his armpits.
