I like the idea of a belt, but not their execution of it. I'd rather have the cartridges on his wrist like the Scarlet Spider or something.

Although the bulkiness of the belt does make sense. After all, where is he going to store cartridges if his "belt" is a red strip going around his torso that's just the same level as the costume itself?

I realize that, but I wasn't expecting Spider-Man looking straight at you from the shoulders up with a ****** background that blends into Spider-Man.

So, no, I shouldn't have lowered my expectations. This picture is just that uninteresting.

That looks like it should be sitting in one of those freaked out machines the kid makes a wish at in 'Big', except with this machine, kids wish they were spider-man, and then wake up the next morning, try to climb the walls, realise they can't, and so start covering their hands in glue, start buzzin the glue, start to think the wish came true, and end up swinging from their local lampost by their pantaloons, before being escorted to the local acid tank by their friendly neighbourhood policeofficer.
In other words, wtf is that?! That has either been designed with drug use in mind, or has been done on drugs.

What in the world is up with that background and the contrast level...again?

Looks like one of those cheap backpack designs one could find in Chinatown. I mean is it really that hard to give us something more along the lines of this (proper contrasting and composting in a proper background like the New York skyline. You know something presentable?).

I don't know anything about photoshop, but i just mean that the choice of background design, mixed with the spidey webs, makes for a very psychedelic image, it does look like the kind of poster you'd get in one of those hippy head shops, that are supposed to look especially trippy under the influence, like, if you were real high on acid, that design would seriously give you the wobbly time tunnelesque effect. I would not mind that hanging up on my wall actually, in case of any possible future excursions into the journey to the center of the mind, haha.
