hey guys, i was on YouTube finding new vids for TASM and i found a "first real review"
he says he went to an advanced screening and that the efects sucks and the movie is mediocre , i don´t believe him , but is the supposed "Advanced Screeing" Real or What?(just curiosuty)

Unfortunately one or two of the big movies this summer will underwhelm and one will suck. It's a disheartening probability but truth. And, one will surprise everyone and be way better than we expected.

Why such a glum view?

Avengers - early reviews are fantastic so it will be good if not great.

I hope it's fun to sit through and watch, and hope it will have a good story even more

Expendables 2 - I hated the first one so this will be more of the same or slightly better.

First is underwhelming

ASM - will either be good or underwhelming.

I hope for the first, fear the latter

MIB 3 - will most likely suck.

Why?
I hope it turns to be an improvement over the second movie

is sad that he says he saw the film and his review is just ranting, and he talks like he is a very smart and cult adult but what adult would start a poor try to get atention about a COMIC BOOK MOVIE

It's funny, because he provided no proof at all that he saw it. He also said Hollywood has run out of ideas so they have to remake classics. That guy said he saw it in an early screening that no one else on the face of the eart mentioned? Seems legit.

It's all BS as far as I'm concerned. The guy just wreaks of pretentiousness and everything he says is an insult. peasant this..son that...mindless this... He also gave the Avengers 0/10 rating once again calling everyone looking forward to the movie a mindless peasant or something like that..

Thing about Avengers for me is, I know the movie is gunna be lots and lots of fun when I watch it, but I can never appreciate it imo. Partly my own fault for that.

Its just that it that movie would be good no matter what. Theres no other better set-up to a movie like the Avengers has had, so by now, all they have to do is a Michael Bay fest, except with better characters than Bay's, and the movie would be good anyway.

Even if I end up loving it, I feel like I won't appreciate it as much.

Avengers is a comic book movie in more than one sense of the word. The previous Marvel Studios films have been the first few issues in an event series, with the Avengers being the final action packed issue.

That is the only bad review ive seen for the screening, the rest is fantastic.

Apparently this guy got to see both footage at comic con and the untold story event and was both times unimpressed.

Like, what aspects of this film are people worried about in comparison to what they thought were done well in Raimi's films?

The origin.

Which is something that I reckon Raimi got quite right and full in tone. Given that they feel the need to rethread that ground and possibly change it around to be different, I'm worried the whole motto behind Spidey is lost in a reshaping of events.

Mainly having Peter's parent already being working with spiders and having him fighting crooks (supposedly) before uncle ben's death. I mean, I took a kick to the head when I saw what they did with Sandman and Uncle Ben in SM3, I was hoping they were just fixing it and start anew. Not remessing it up.

We'll see.

Uncle Ben's death scene in SM1 was not that moving for me. Maybe it was just me. Or maybe, it was Tobey's crying face in the scene... HATE his attempt at that emotion.

Overall, it felt forced, and very PG rated. Yes, I know the man was shot, and lay on the ground bleeding to death (although no blood), but the overall mood, with the acting, daytime, crowd around... all left me cold (pardon the pun).

I am hoping, the death scene in ASM is MUCH better and more moving. It appears to be, but time will tell.

And they (Webb and Co) would be CRAZY to NOT have their own Orgin in the movie, with this being a REBOOT! Fresh start... define your take on the character, etc. I like the approach (origin), now I would of preferred a Flashback (say at Uncle Ben's funeral) maybe... but overall.. Origin=MUST IMO.
